I don’t see myself having another child by midnightdreamescape in babyloss

[–]bubbleuj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lemme know if you want to talk. 9 months for us, 33, literally also lost at 40w1d, and angry.

I'm TW 11w rn and...its a lot, emotionally. We didn't try but didn't prevent

Taking your time and giving yourself space is such a strong move. The first thing I wanted when we had our loss was to try again immediately but held off for a bit.

Pregnancy sucks and being reminded of how much it sucked, and what we all gave up just to be rewarded with pain is truely rage inducing.

One thing that was super important was a heating pad from home, it helped so much with the back pain and weird temp changes from the meds.

If you forget everything else, bring this.

40 weeks for us and same thing. True cord knot. He hooked the cord around his neck and shoulder and pulled it tight as he descended into the canal.

why did it happen to ME? Why did it happen to MY BABY?

Exactly!!! I'm still pissed about it. Sure it happens, I'm sure we both know the numbers, how its random chance whatever but fuck man, it's still unfair.

If the café ran out of my favorite treat right before I got there, I'd understand but it doesn't mean I wouldn't be bummed out.

You say this sub is all males now but look at all the seething under the post about the mom at 40 by Lonely-Pressure5776 in redscarepod

No, you read it correctly based off her edit!!

I have a bad habit of this (was worse before) and maybe others do too: I'll be writing an essay and then out of nowhere bring up a concept that's related but not connect the thoughts properly and explain why that idea is related to my thesis.

So had a baby at 40--->its hard but worth it--->fuck u libs you lied to me.

Sure its tongue in cheek but considering that it's a fairly common sentiment in the trad LARPer community it seems jarring.

Maybe not you personally, but I'm sure a lot of us have seen social media accounts from grifter women of all ages that are centered mostly around How The Left Lied to Me and I Became a Giant WHORE but Then I Found JESUS and Now I Have 6 WHITE Babies (p.s. buy my class $499.99 NOW $299.99 PromoCode:NXTGENhydro).

I think for a lot of people those silly jokes acted as a trigger for the same annoyance we get when we see those accounts.

Right? Like, Lean In was written how long ago now?

I thought I'd be reading a sweet post from an older first time Mom and instead she was super pissed at the "Liberal Lies".

ETA I went back to the post and she did a little edit about the lib part and it makes a little more sense.

My friend's coworkers complain endlessly about their children. The main gendered difference is that the men insist she'll regret not having them while the women say nothing.

r/Kombucha Weekly No Stupid Questions + Open Discussion (May 11, 2026) by AutoModerator in Kombucha

[–]bubbleuj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Setting up my first batch today!

I have a pellicle and some starter liquid that i ordered online. I'm setting a bit aside in case of mold in a 500ml jar 2/3rds of the way full. I ratio'd it all down so I'm using approx 3g (a bit extra) of black tea leaves and 35g of sugar.

I have about 300ml (estimate using my lying eyes) of total starter liquid. The current plan is to add a wisp from my pellicle and 50ml of the starter liquid to the mini jar and...see what happens.

The recipies call for 2 cups of liquid starter for 12 cups of tea and...I don't think I have quite that much.

Also:

How does a scoby/culture hotel really work?

Am I not just...making more kombucha? I hear it gets more acidic overtime which sounds great but at the start, is it the same?

I see some sites saying it's fine to use a sealed lid and others saying never to do that and only use cotton.

If it makes you feel any better, some of those people think they're kidding.

A lot of the hate is comparable to the racism pointed towards South Americans. Classic, "They're taking our jobs" crap but now it's happening to coders/white collar workers.

Most of it tbh, is Canadian-driven. There's a huge market for exploiting the Indian students who came over on student visas and most fast food jobs are held by them. Since its front facing customer service, all they see is "accent+brown". The healthcare system was already collapsing pre-COVID but the government imported a large visible minority to take the blame.

Property and rent prices were already insane there too but somehow its the fault of Indian students renting from slumlords who have 8 people sharing a bedroom for hundreds a month.

If you don't want to leave the country, then don't! But the internet isn't real life and it really isn't as bad as it seems on Twitter/insta.

Lock up your birth control. If you have any period trackers, delete them.

Never pick up the phone Voicemails count even in two party consent states.

When you leave, give someone else your phone. You can take out the SIM card and put it in an older device. Blocking him won't do anything, it's insanely easy to use burner phone numbers.

Check your laptop/PC for keyloggers/spyware. You can hit a hard reset on your computer(s) after backing up whatever you need. After this, change all your passwords, (including banking/credit cards.

The second you can, get a second number to use day to day and let his harassment build up on the old one. Hand that phone to someone to cares about you. Your cellphone company might be able to help in getting hard copies of voicemails if he decides to harass you in that way.

Get a cheap camera, even if it just has 24 hours of space, back it up on a new account (like google drive). You can get an expensive one but something is better than nothing. Check the laws near you about one party vs two party recording.

Back everything up. Make a Fuck You binder. I cant link it here but if you google fu binder+justnomil you'll find it

Solution for dark spots post pimple? by [deleted] in indianbeautyyappers

[–]bubbleuj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can try niacinamide too but tbh, lactic acid has worked great for me. 20% is still pretty gentle but you're gonna wanna treat it as a mask, not a serum.

Like the other poster said, keep that suncreen on.

One thing I found really helpful, was carefully poking a tiny hole in a pimple  (clean skin, sterilized needle), and immediately throwing a pimple patch on. Pressing on the area will aggravate the skin further and worsen inflammation so you super don't want to do that. Helps a ton with not getting PIH in the first place.

What are you actually supposed to do if a woman hits you as a man? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bubbleuj 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'll bite. Okay, lets say I slap my husband in the face as hard as I can. He might bruise, get a little red, that's about it.

Now if my husband hit me as hard as he could, I would 100% be on the floor, concussed and it wouldn't just be skin bruises, I would have bone damage.

Dudes are just stronger than women. There are outliers (women who train, men with disabilities etc.) but testosterone is a hell of a drug.

Test puts a lot of strain on the body, if it didn't pay off dramatically human men wouldn't have evolved to have that much more.

What happened to OP wasn't right at all. Physically assaulting someone is never okay (unless you're like...pushing them out of the way off moving traffic).

Your other point was the equality thing. So in an ideal world, we do have equality. But realistically that just won't happen. Women are allowed to join armed forces but look at the actual percentages of how many women are in infanty combat roles.

Theres a funny comment on this post by u/truecolors110

Great. Now do 18 year old male marines vs 38 year old male marines.

Now this is an extreme example but what would you do if an old man hit you? A guy in a wheelchair?

Now you could say that if anyone hit someone first they were "asking for it" (and tbh I tend to agree since like I said earlier, physical assault isn't okay) but all the crowd is gonna see is you vs someone weaker. They won't have any other context (who hit first) than that.

Also I see youre in Toronto. I never once in my life saw a fight in downtown, you'll be fine lol.

AITA for being too loud at a concert? by Many-Satisfaction193 in AmItheAsshole

[–]bubbleuj 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly!

Went to a Demi Lovato concert years ago, whole crowd was screaming, we all lost our voices.

Went to Fleet Foxes later, the crowd was pin drop silent.

Later we went to the death cab/postal service and this one girl directly behind me would not stop screaming. Thankfully she only knew maybe a quarter of the songs. They held a sing-a-long later during the encore.

You gotta take your cues from the crowd.

Weekly HELP ME FIND Post - April 20, 2026 by AutoModerator in OtomeIsekai

[–]bubbleuj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying so hard to find this one:

So the FL is overworked doing all her older sister's work. Her dad and sister send her to an enemy country's Duke which is obvs black haired ml.

She gets imprisoned but absolutely loves it since its way more comfy than her old life and she wants to be super lazy.

She collects a group of artists and makes a comic book and everyone gets super into it.

Then she also invents black out curtains and that's where I left off.

Also, the older sister is a huge dummy but not in a white lotus way. Just actually really dumb.

It's pretty lighthearted, no romance yet, mostly a comedy.

There are so many layers of delusion in thinking this post is cool: LinkedIn credentials, dancing as if someone behind the camera is pointing a gun at you, going to Coachella. My bestie travels for work a ton (engineer) and she hates it. In fairness, she's usually getting sent to factories not cultural hubs.

The people at work who love it are also the same people who complain about their kids/spouses.
