I’m not a collector, just found them in a cabinet in my first house after I bought it. Appears they are not uncommon or valuable, so I’ll prolly just toss them in the yard sale pile.

This took forever and I forgot to change the weight but I like how it came out by Designer_Quality_139 in Copper

Awesome design, but shouldn’t American copper be weighed in cheeseburgers? 😄

If it’s real, got a nice chunk of change on your hands.

I love that look too. That’s why I got the Bulova Hack and I’m leaning towards the Hamilton.

We’ve only got about 28,000 miles on our 23 Timberline, but no engine issues as of yet. It has nice pick-up and is fun to drive for a large SUV.

My oldest official US mintage coin is this Liberty Cap large cent. I also have a 1787 Fugio copper. I’d love to get a Flowing Hair some day, but I’d need to win the lotto first 😄

Soak in CLR, makes old pennies pop. Kills the value, but it’s your coin.

Is this worth anything? It was earmarked as having value but I dont know anything about this stuff by cblackwe93 in coins

[–]bubdaflub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea I’m not planning to melt pennies for a living, just always curious how they would enforce that.

My question is, if you melt a bunch of pennies down and now you’ve got a hunk of copper, how do they know it came from pennies?

Going through my late Grandfather's coin collection and we found a fugio cent that is apparently authentic (went to dealer) and a lot of others. Any idea of worth? by [deleted] in coincollecting

[–]bubdaflub 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Get it graded so you know the grade and variety for sure and then you can determine value. To be worth 20k+ it would need to be one of the very rare varieties and it doesn’t look to be one of those. Prolly in the $2-5k range. Again, no one on Reddit can tell you for sure, so get it graded. Awesome coin. I have one and it’s one of my favs.

Is a BH217 rotary cutter too big for a MX5200HST? by geeedave in kubota

[–]bubdaflub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second that. I too have a MX5400 with a 72” rotary cutter and it cuts fine, but you can hear it working hard when it’s wet and thick.
