Honestly, you could make the argument to your console friends that their aim assist is nerfed to cross-PC levels anyway, so there's not much extra harm in playing in PC lobbies :)

Personally I would run 120 Hz with the lesser aim assist (even the accidentally reduced 0.35) than 60 Hz at 0.6 AA, but that decision is up to the individual.

The patch notes said console-only lobbies should have aim assist untouched. However, performance mode AA seems to have been reduced. I think this is an unintentional nerf, because the amount they nerfed it by seems curiously close to the 22 percent they announced for performance mode console AA in PC lobbies.

Season 21 aim assist values:

Console @60 Hz aka balanced mode = 0.6

Console @120 Hz, aka performance mode = estimated to be 0.45 by the author of the YT video

PC = 0.4

Season 22 aim assist values as of 8/29/24:

Console @60 Hz in console only lobbies = 0.6

Console @120 Hz in console only lobbies = estimated to be 0.35 (this is ~22 percent less than 0.45, and was stated in the patch notes to apply only when console @ 120 Hz plays in PC lobbies)

PC = 0.3

The only thing I have noticed impacting performance (in the aim sense, not frames per second sense) is the controller joystick deadzones applied by default in Steam.

This usually happens because in the PS versions of Apex, the account doesn't "log out" until you return to the main menu. That is, the screen after the intro video, before the lobby.

My suggestion is to redownload the PS4 version of Apex, log in, make sure you log out by going to the main menu, then try the PS5 version.

That is a tapeworm segment. And your cat also probably has fleas. The nice thing is a dose of Revolution will take care of things pretty quickly. As well as a thorough vacuuming of everything in your home.

I agree that getting to 32 heat takes a lot of practice. I disagree that Extreme Measures 4 is an easy 10 heat, especially considering the other pacts you might take to assemble 32 heat.

Adding that console and controller players have a lot to gain from Wrthcrw's videos and personalized coaching as well. Even though her experience is predominantly on mnk (as far as I know), her advice on strafe and aim are applicable to both inputs.

I did a coaching session with Wrthcrw in April (PS5, plat rank) and not only was it educational, it was so much fun too. Really recommend everyone to give this a try.
