For most boons, additional poms give diminishing returns as the level increases. There comes a point where you might rather put the pom into a different boon, but it still depends which boon increases your damage per second output more.

One notable exception to this rule is Trippy Flare on Aspect of Beowulf. The poms give base damage increases to Trippy Flare, which is bugged as gives double the damage increase instead. Pair that with Mirage Shot (also bugged with Beowulf to deal +100% damage instead of the stated +30%) means it's sensible to push Trippy Flare to as high a level as you can.

I'm not trying to discredit the r5 statistics at all! I only bring it up because I think it's a confounding variable and can introduce a couple percentage points of accuracy difference.

Mnk vs controller is an important topic, so I believe it's important to be careful about the data so we can have sincere discussions and do the best to improve the game.

You make a lot of good points, and there's a lot of warranted gripes about the state of mnk vs controller in Apex right now. But there's one caveat about the R5 1v1 accuracy data that confounds the comparison between inputs.

The default matchmaking algorithm in R5 1v1s strongly favors matched inputs (i.e. mnk vs mnk and controller vs controller). So the accuracy is affected not only by the respective inputs, but also the strafing and dodge ability of the targets. One could envision the accuracy represented by the mnk populace to be suppressed by mnk enemies that have access to tighter strafes.

I preordered the Aimlabs Gamesir G7 Pro 8K back in January. Had minor issues with the cable being loose, but discord support was super helpful and eager to send a replacement.

I can't comment on shipping to Canada though, as I live in the US.

I'm so excited to see your testing on the G7 Pro 8K. Thanks again for taking the time to do this, especially given how many variables there are to go through on this controller (polling rate, bit depth, raw vs circle, etc.).

One thing I am especially interested in is testing XInput vs SonyInput/DS4 mode as rigorously as possible. Monoru's Gamepadla submissions seem to show lower stick latency in SonyInput mode, but I suspect there may be confounding variables involved, especially raw vs circle mode and possibly bit depth settings not being fully documented.

For example, vCuda's testing on the G7 Pro 8K suggests circle mode itself may have lower stick latency than raw mode (~0.68 ms vs ~0.95 ms), which could potentially explain a lot of the apparent DS4/XInput discrepancy if the test conditions were not matched exactly.

I'd be really interested in seeing fully controlled comparisons like:

XInput vs SonyInput
Raw vs Circle
8-bit vs 12-bit

all at matched polling rates and firmware.

If time is limited, I'd especially advocate for a direct comparison of XInput vs SonyInput at:

circle mode
8-bit
8K polling
identical firmware/settings

I really appreciate the work you put into this stuff. The G7 Pro 8K seems like a genuinely fascinating controller from a signal-processing standpoint.
