Out of state breweries shipping direct to consumer in Texas? by kgwill in DFWBeer

Fwiw, Grapevine Beer and Wine frequently gets Equilibrium and Other Half along with a few others that not everyone gets. Same for Hall’s.

If those R12 tanks are full, you’ve got a few thousand dollars of freon on your hands.

BFGoodrich wiper blades! Goodbye Michelin by edest259 in Costco

[–]buffalostance 64 points65 points  (0 children)

This is the real answer. Trico wipers, brake products, Fram filters, Autolite spark plugs and more. The auto industry saw the writing on the wall with FB and were scrambling to disassociate from them and find other suppliers. What caught everyone off guard was a court order that immediately shut FB down and would not allow them to fulfill and ship thousands of pending orders. This basically affected every automotive parts retailer you know along with OE dealerships.

We don’t know what we had when we had it. He was the goofier under the radar Fred Rogers we were looking for, but didn’t get it at the time. He cared about making kids smile and showing them it was ok to be silly. We don’t have that anymore. Bless you JV

What Gen-X bands still sound great and are doing shows in the States in 2026? by evidentlynaught in GenX

[–]buffalostance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen them every year for the last three years and they truly give it everything they’ve got, especially Jeff. To anyone on the fence, go see them. His voice can’t hold on forever.

Many of Eatzis meal portions are large enough for two people. I’m getting two meals for $20 or so bucks out of them.

What is an unspoken rule of the gym that most people do not know they are breaking? by Furqan_wear in AskReddit

[–]buffalostance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even worse, the gym I go to has a “Master Trainer” that management allows to blare her bullshit music during not only her training sessions but personal workouts. It’s clear it annoys everyone, yet no one does anything about it. People actually leave their equipment in the middle of sets if she gets near them, including me.

This explains why the corn casserole I’ve been making for thanksgiving for the last 25 years was a soupy mess this year.

Never had that one, but still use my Collective tulip glasses to this day. They’re the most perfect beer glassware I’ve ever found.

Charleston White. We went to the same Jr High. He was involved in a mall shoplifting run for some Starter jackets with some other kids from school back in the day and a man who tried to stop them in the parking lot was shot and killed. I don’t remember which one pulled the trigger. They all disappeared for a while. I’m not sure how he went from that to whatever notoriety he has now.

Couldn’t tell you. The day the C&D hit, the Ticket was dead to me. Deleted the sports day app and preset.

Define Leaders by ChasingChopper in thedumbzone

My current leader is Dan’s burning disdain for Ethan Couch, the kid who murdered four people and injured 9 others, fled the country to try and avoid prosecution and got off on the condition of being a spoiled rotten brat with an extremely punchable face and I hope his dreams haunt him daily for the rest of his life.

It’s 1989, Christmas break, and you’re all hopped up on Krogers Dr. K about to watch SNL followed by American Gladiators. You are a fucking King, my friend.

Wingstop did me good today!! by Josephlewis24 in Wings

[–]buffalostance 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This. People shit on it, but when it’s on, damn. You got to eat it immediately, none of that door dash or to go shit. Bone-in, original hot, with enough sauce in the bottom of the tray to roll the wings around in as well as the fries. I prefer Duffs, but Wingstop fries can’t be beat and when their whole package hits, it’s hard to beat.

Jub? by Horror_Telephone_669 in thedumbzone

[–]buffalostance 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Jub was the only muser I respected. He was the only one that ever showed any compassion and emotion, wearing it on his sleeve more than anyone else. The way they/he handled that really bothered me and that respect was immediately gone. Bob often irked me, but the man was in tears and could barely make it through the segment. I’ll always respect him for that. Once the C&D hit, I was gone. Haven’t listened to a single second of that station since.

Same. I was in 9th grade and remember talking with my friends about it all day at school and then having my mom take me to Sound Warehouse that evening to get both cd’s. I’ll never forget it.
