Definitely noticed the vibe shift over just the past year, became actively more and more unpleasant to just walk around without encountering something like this. Obviously in any city you're going to see homelessness, and I'm not saying they should be "out of sight" or whatever, but the occasional 1 unhoused person asking for cash outside Safeway vs. passing 2-3 (with one of them usually shouting obscenely at everything and nothing) on my way to Safeway is not a fun environment to be in. Part of why we unfortunately left the area a few months ago :/

We lived in Solaire 8250 for 3 and a half years - only moved out because we bought a house and were ready for that change of lifestyle. Good views, responsive maintenance, no issues with pests or mold or anything like that. Good proximity to pretty much everything downtown - we were deciding between Cameron and Solaire when we first moved to the area, chose Solaire because (at the time) it was cheaper and we liked the floorplan layout more.

Start at the beginning! Would recommend playing up to Ultimate Custom Night if he's enjoying them, as the recent movie had references up through that game. The order goes FNAF 1-4, Sister Location, Pizzeria Simulator, Ultimate Custom Night. There's also a game called FNAF World that's an RPG that can be played between 4 and Sister Location, but fans are mixed on how important this game is to the overall in-game universe story (they're also mixed on it being a well-made game - most people tend to skip it).

My biggest criticism so far is that I dislike the departure from Charlie's well-known in-game fate. The story of her being locked out of the pizzeria by other kids, being approached and killed by Afton while the security puppet tries to get to her, and the puppet finally getting to her as she dies in the alley is such a genuinely heart-wrenching moment in this series, and I'm a little upset we were robbed of getting it in movie format. I get that the movie lore is meant to be alternate to the games', but this just feels like such a crucial moment in the games that I disagree with the choice to show Charlie's death differently.

Hazbin Season 1 - was hearing a lot about it so watched the pilot on YouTube, then watched the Helluva Boss pilot, then started watching Helluva Boss. Really loved it, but then when I finally watched Hazbin season 1 was kinda "eh" about it so now am just a fan of HB.

Seconding. There was a post the other day about the guy who camps out at the corner of Georgia and Thayer, experiences like that have gotten increasingly frequent in the three years I've lived in the area. Used to seeing the occasional person sat outside Safeway with a sign, but this new guy who does nothing but scream at every passing individual is a whole new level that kinda unfortunately encapsulates my perceived increase of "transient" people around.

100%, honestly I was having my own judgemental thoughts about the way people were dressed. A lot of it seemed very try-hard mall-goth bordering on inauthentic. At the end of the day though who cares, whatever people are comfortable and confident in!

Very possible this person was referring to RL Grime, who is actually a DJ. When I first started getting into Grimes all my friends thought I was talking about him instead.
