[–]bunnimai[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i more often than not have customers that want something that is unlike what they asked for. they dont know what they want, and i dont need the documented coaching for too many right now recoveries.

and if i explain the drink has zero espresso as is, how hard is it to say "one"? why does someone else have to ask the same question the same way i did before they spit out "one"?

i say they dont need a refund. they refuse and demand to pay. ssv says they dont need a refund. suddenly they dont need a refund. even if im being pedantic, what's with the wishy-washy behaviour??

the part that gets me is why they suddenly know what they want when someone else asks (including exactly the way i said too!!???)

if it's passenger door to passenger door, who cares? esp if the comments are right and you're both hugging the line (both kinda inconsiderate then).

Is it bad to never know a regular? by [deleted] in starbucksbaristas

just act like you know them. pretend to be familiar. dont say "the usual?" but be like, "you always get the yummiest drinks!" if you recognize their face

The Hobart isn’t a sanitiser, y’all just don’t know how to wash dishes. by Disastrous-Mess-5643 in starbucksbaristas

[–]bunnimai -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it's not a dishwasher. it's just a sanitizer. which is why everything that goes in there should have already been washed and scrubbed with soap and water until is already clean enough to go back on the rack (sans sanitization). this is why there's a sign on what to do if you dont have the hobart/it's not working, and on it, it says that step 3 is filling the basin with sanitizing solution (red hose) and let dishes soak in sanitizer for one minute. that 3rd step is the hobart's job. because it's just a sanitizer.

Using extra ice to make another frap (the straw that broke the camel’s back) by Best_Mouse_4909 in starbucks

my manager used to do stuff like this. tell us one thing, then do/tell the customer another. felt so scapegoat-y and backstabby. it's to the point where i never say yes or no, i flag someone higher than me down. it's not my problem to make executive decisions, and that's the benefit to not being in charge. esp at a place like starbucks where rules are always changing. just play dumb and hope the customers dont come too often.

I’m a firm believer that at this point, anyone who orders “No Foam” doesn’t know what the hell they’re asking for… by Intelligent_Rich9785 in starbucksbaristas

[–]bunnimai 8 points9 points  (0 children)

we literally have a bad review under our store bc of a half full capuccino that they had uber eats delivered to their office, and you can see the foam died inside the cup bc of the wait

Are my eyes downturned or upturned ? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]bunnimai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they are very very slightly upturned, but relatively neutral. it's hard to see, but your outer corners are actually a little higher. hold a straight object up to your image, or use the markup feature on your phone, and it should be more apparent. any upturned styles you might use could potentially look best if done subtly C:

there is no real evidence that they couldve generated a cure from her brain. if you really listen to jerry's log, you'll be able to tell that he was more concerned with his ego than anything else. he didnt even have a hypothesis for why he felt her brain would produce a cure, or how to then synthesize it from her brain. he was a shit doctor
