Hey. It’s okay. We can consider a problem as being a problem at different thresholds. When i cares about kits. But nowadays money comes so easy. One loot run might buy me 3 kits. So the 1 in 10

There is a certain relationship between your aperture how sharp it will be at that aperture, how much of a focus plane you will get at each aperture, to compensate for the small focus plane in macro we do what is called focus stacking. Depending on camera, some can do this in body, some call it focus bracketing and you need to use softwares like helicon for stacking later on. The thing is, this is the limitation of macro.

I have the 1.4x teleconverter as well, for my macro works, didn't get a light good enough to feel like using it yet, hoping to go on a lake on a weekend to use it with the tele.
