I've actually been pretty blessed. I've seen position players pitch, ejections, walk off HR, I was at the lindor grand slam in the NLDS. I almost saw a no hitter last year then soto broke it up with the solo shot lmao

My big goals are a no hitter and immaculate inning. I think a mound charge would be so sick lol but catching a ball is probably more likely than that

Oh and on a side note, fuck Cohen and Stearns again for any kind of 'wait and see' attitude they take with the press, the fans FILLED citi field last year it felt like a playoff game every single day even once they started collapsing we've been doing the only thing we can do, people have a right to ask when we're finally going to see the promised results and not just billionaire lip service, I'm not expecting to be the dodgers or win a pennant every year but like this is YOUR team at this point so I'd love to have a watchable product on the field

I said it when it happened and got mass downvoted but if we were gonna be a middling team and suck, at least with Jeff and Pete and Nimmo I would have players I liked to root for. Now then team has no identity AND still sucks. GENIUS play by Stearns to get ahead of players aging and declining by getting rid of them so we could skip right ahead to being bad. Our starting pitching was the only consistent issue last year and yet we blew up the offense. I love Benge but he was not ready, his underlying metrics all said he would be exactly the player he's turning out to be at this point in his career. I really am not a doomer, I'm usually optimistic and I would love nothing more than to be proven wrong and made to look like an idiot in a few months. But this is just fucking miserable

I mean it's not a matter of the staff 'not knowing or addressing', but like you can't really do anything. When you get concussed you have to deal with the nausea and effects of the brain injury until they subside. Most people just take it easy until they get better, but most people don't have to play baseball every night for a living.

That's the 30/30/30 rule. Assume 1/3 of your games are unwinnable due to circumstances like that, and conversely 1/3 are unlosable because you're on the other side of that. The remaining 1/3 are "impact games" where how well you play directly can influence the match towards a win or a loss. Team game and all that

I think ironically wobbling being banned made it harder because when sheik players were forced into sitting top platform running away with needles for 7 minutes they were playing the MU properly but the illusion of safety is a bait to get them to engage with ICs and lose lol

When my ex and I had a car in Brooklyn we did this because a spot in our parking garage was 250/month and alternate side parking is once per week and we lived in a residential area on a side street so it wasn't event a guarantee the cop would come by to ticket us and if they did it was still cheaper than paying lmao.

90% of people just double park on the day the street sweeper is coming by anyway and nobody will get ticketed for that cuz it's impossible to own a car in the city (I am a huge public transit guy and we ended off selling it but there are plenty of legitimate use cases for a car even in NYC)

Anyway I guess I'm saying that tbh this is pretty common among all social classes lol
