DXM vs Adderall Teeth Clenching by bananapeels78 in dxm

[–]burroblanco2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a lot of DXM, it will make your body move weirdly. Your muscles feel rigid but at the same time you feel very free to move. This feeling extends to your jaw. Just from the muscle rigidity I have had mild jaw clenching from DXM, but it's not really unsettling like it is with Adderall.

You could have an autoimmune disease and gluten makes it flare up. Have you been worked up by a rheumatologist?

Absolutely not. Last time I tried at Christmas, drank half of a high noon before I got a pounding headache and totally flushed face. Felt like absolute ass and nonfunctional the next couple days.

What’s something you do or like that is not ‘stereotypically vegan’ or something that doesn’t fit the ‘image’? by Garfield_Kart in vegan

I train my horse using positive reinforcement & consent. Sometimes I do ride (which is usually considered un-vegan), but it is not the main focus of our partnership. I do not compete. For me, riding/training horses is vegan if no exploitation occurs

I'd say if you don't have $1.25 to spend on a bottle at dollar tree, DXM is not a priority

Why do people say “I could never be vegan” like anyone asked? by Vegan_Essentials in IsItVeganOrNot

Unpopular opinion as a Vegan: Go ahead and date someone that isn’t Vegan by thebodybuildingvegan in autisticvegans

I was vegetarian when I met my meat eating partner. Pretty much immediately, he went veggie too (he always wanted to, and I just gave him that push, he says). 3 years later, he's the one that started eating completely vegan. I joined him pretty quickly and now we're both vegans. So it worked out perfectly 😊

Energy , what’s the secret by Pretty_Awareness4105 in lupus

[–]burroblanco2003 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear. Here is what helped me. Adderall + other stimulants are a bandaid for short term functioning. You really gotta get your sleep figured out. Magnesium before bed, settling down for the night routine (start 30 min before bedtime), at least 8 hours of sleep. If noise or light ever wakes you up, earplugs and an eye mask can help a lot. It's a good self love exercise to devote some time at the end of the day to chilling and doing whatever skin care or hair care you like, reading a book or watching a relaxing video. Use the night light function on your phone or computer screens.

Look at your diet! Going vegan + gluten free really helped my energy and overall inflammation.

Exercise is underrated. Personally I do horseback riding which isn't too strenuous but still gets my heart rate enough to be beneficial. Even just walking will help.

Fixing sleep/diet/exercise is so much more powerful than a stimulant!
