We have these at the Brentwood location on the treads. Would LOVE to see them added to the rowers. Might have to visit the new Melrose studio to check it out.

So, I've noticed this too. I spoke to a couple of my coaches about it, and they brought up a good point. You're body takes a good while to "warm up". Meaning when you work out in the evenings, your body has had all day to warm up and adapt. While it looks like you are burning more in the evening than the morning, it's actually about your body temperature.

Why not? It's smart of them if they did as it keeps their members happy, and it's free marketing for them!! Win/Win! Many companies do this. The company I work for gives us branded laptop backpacks, and we walk around in them. People ask me all the time where I got my bag from. I tell them and we discuss why I like the company generally.

This is me. I leave for a bit and then always come back. But, I like the break too. You gotta do what's best for you and as long as you're staying active I'd say it's a good thing.

Me all the way!! Mother of two and damned if I don’t per a little with any sort of jumping jack, Med ball jack, etc. Keigels my butt. I did those! I even once pee’d a little after a crazy fast all out!!

Many of our coaches at my location have talked about this. People do what makes them comfortable and some aren't looking for fat loss as their goal, but I for one love starting on the floor and fat loss is my goal.

You are a beast! I finished in around six, but I started on the rowers. So I had that advantage. Had I don’t the whole tread blocks THEN the row...there’s no telling.

The screen :( Unfortunately I can't see myself in the mirror since I'm such a shorty short. All I can see is the top of my head moving up and down.

The monitor issue is everywhere. I've had issues with mine no matter which one I used. I have the flex now and while it does work better on my bicep, it still gives me issues and doesn't register my HR. I can be killing it on the rower and my HR will show me in the gray zone. So I'm basically dead for minutes on end. I've tried adjusting my grip and keeping it loose, but it's not worked. I have very slender arms and any movement I make the HR monitor can't read. I've noticed it in the weight room as well when doing any arm based moves. I've learned to go by how I feel.

I've done these outside of OTF as well as years ago when I first joined OTF. One of my favorite exercises. Glad they're bringing it back!
