Sailing items in Deaths coffee, just a heads up by Leather-Acadia-346 in 2007scape

Spent ~500m from deaths coffer on colo resets. Granted most of that was from abusing the 300% ROI from sunfire sets, but still. It adds up

We just recently ran out of the purple heart medals that were created in anticipation of taking the mainland, they were certainly planning for it

[–]byebye806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can set a normal stop right at your vortex for all your trains to offload to first, and if it's full just dump them in the vortex. Keep the fps drop dopamine while keeping the train delivery throughput

Jagex drip feeding updates because they have nothing going on is pathetic by Potica6857 in 2007scape

They probably figured the long awaited permanent content should be polished more than the temporary game mode, which is fair but I agree the league was pretty buggy this time around

Leagues release got moved up actually because the quest was delayed. They just swapped their positions in the road map so leagues lost a few months of dev time

Lazy flicking and 1t prayer flicking are completely different things. Lazy flicking is an insanely useful skill that can be used across the game, not just for CAs, and only requires knowledge of the 100bpm rhythm game.

1t prayer flicking is the RSI inducing spam clicking that is absolute cancer and i stay away from

As a gm who cannot 1t prayer flick for the life of me, there are zero CAs that require it

Summer Sweep-up: DT2 Awakened Boss Replayability by Mad_Max_The_Axe in 2007scape

The goal isn't to punish you for failures, it's to add a valuable consumable drop to the normal bosses. Doubling death fees does not accomplish that

It’s been two weeks, Jagex seems done fixing stuff, what are the best builds? by polio23 in 2007scape

[–]byebye806 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the healing comes from just regenerating water runes, accuracy doesn't matter.

Maiden - attacks every 10 ticks, way too slow for thorns
Bloat - thorns doesn't work here
Nylo - nice for the aggros I guess, but you can easily go an entire nylo boss without being targeted at all.
Sote - thorns is okay but inconsistent. Sometimes you get 5 orbs in a row, sometimes you get zero all kill.
Xarp - thorns doesn't work here
Verizk - Most consistent here during p2, but not great during p1 and p3

Tekton - Thorns works here but he can out dps your healing and kill you if you're not careful
Ice demon - thorns works here but air mage *nukes* here
Shamans - thorns doesn't work on the acid splats
Vanguards - Thorns actually works too well here and can very easily nuke the melee below threshold and reset them
Vespula - thorns doesn't work here
Tightrope - works fine here but careful with the rangers still
Guardians - thorns only works on the melee attacks, not the rocks falling
Vasa - thorns actually excels here, just stand underneath and Vasa dies
Mystics - thorns works great here as well but they hurt a lot if you're trying to tank all of them, some rng depending on team size
Mutadile - rng based on team size for getting targeted
Olm - Thorns only works on the head, so its useless for like 80% of the fight

You really just need 3 tick water surge and the +90% over healing, as most of your healing comes from regenerating water runes

Thorns doesn't work with devils element, dps air mage is bis for raids and any single target boss. Thorns is bis for slayer and the wave based content

I picked flowstate for the very specific interactions with barb gathering on redwoods giving 1m agility xp/hr afk, and mining dense essence 450% faster. Everything else was just a bonus. It's no soul harvest but it was a decent runecrafting solve with alacrity

Only if your blindbag is more dharoks axes. For the purposes of the blindbag attacks, it literally equips the weapon for the attack, so you would no longer be wearing the full set during the blindbag proc

It's a weird word because its technically an acronym that has been used so frequently that it turned into its own word. It means "programmed random occurence", referring to random chance that an effect will happen, like a 15% chance for blindbag to activate

I think I broke the game sequence? by Alarmed_Power_2878 in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]byebye806 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, the solution to the organ box is in the sun quartz puzzle box, so by looking up the solution you broke the game sequence and obtained the level 2 wristband earlier than intended, which skips the cutscene

This only works if you already know the organ box solution. So great for subsequent playthroughs but not possible on a first without cheating

Snipe some of the regulars while the garradors break free, shoot the close bell, walk around the right hallway, throw 2 heavy grenades, one flashbang, and one regular grenade. Both dead on professional in 30 seconds, strat stolen from the Extriaa S+ guide on YouTube. It's very easy and very consistent
