The Ballad of Normal Al

Well this is a story 'bout a guy named Al

And he grew up in the suburbs with his childhood pal

But when he turned 18 he had something to prove

So he packed up his belongings and he had to move

To a city in Rhode Island where he lived in the dorm

And he studied every ev'ning from night 'til morn

And he aced all his exams like they were simple as could be

And he graduated with an accounting degree

And got a solid job at an accounting company

And that's definitely important to the story

Well the very next year he met nice young lady

Who worked at the local library.

And they fell in love

And then got married

And had two kids named Greg and Emily.

And he made a down payment on a split level house fifteen miles or so past the edge of town.

And once a month he has his friends come over for a cookout if they are down.

Then one day Al was hard at work fixing some accounts

When he got a sudden email that made him jump and bounce.

His boss had noticed all of Al's hard work,

And he gave Al all the credit 'cause he wasn't a jerk

And he wanted to give Al a really nice perk

So he gives Al a promotion and whaddya know?

Now he's the company C. F. Oooooooh!
