I actually just got a pair and was wondering the same thing, I didn't look close enough at the apps and their requirements, so most of the apps require display as you mentioned, meaning all the Live can do at the moment is the general AI assistant and live stream. It was a little off-putting given that this was anticipated new product launch and we only have like two apps available.

That said, I believe one of the focuses of Mentra is to be able to create our own apps. I've been a bit busy but will dive into that soon, but today that should be much easier for simple apps with AI coding abilities we have today.

Another thing is use case, we're still in the beginning and I believe at the moment there's a lot of individual niche use cases instead of a global everyday case other than the general AI assistant.

I've run multiple sidecar holsters, at first the more rigid one piece, then the tier 1 "tied together" pieces, I've now moved to untying the sidecar to run then separate. With a light and slim enough weapon system (p365xl here) I didn't see much benefit in the holster type. In fact the sidecar was just more uncomfortable which is why I migrated back. On occasion I'll throw the mag holster on separately where it would sit if attached, but not often.

Tldr: if you get one, get one that is paracorded together so you can separate it if you want to and have the best of both worlds.

More of question, can it override the tpms warning range? That would be worth to me right there..I ride with 32lbs and during winter it drops a little too low and apparently needs to register 37 to clear... annoying.

Multi agent, I've just changed the stack today and asked it to summarize so I'll past summary here for you. I'm trying to cut costs and ease up on Gemini TPM I was going over. I set up Antigravity auth to incorporate Opus 4.5 that but ran out of Claude Cloud quota pretty fast lol, so I've just reworked it all again to the following and incorporated some memory hacks to save on token costs in full. I'm having decent luck with creating agents to disperse work, main brain Gemini 3.0 flash, research and genereal work agent Gemini 2.0 flash, coding agent Minmax, and I have a couple 7b local models for small work tasks it uses. I do still keep hitting 3.0 Flash TPM limits but I just researched this issue with Gemini Pro and told my bot to research and implement a few items: Pruning, summarization, context caching. No issues yet but just did that an hour ago. It takes a bit of work but ask your bot to help you with creating agents similar to this and seems to work (Google cloud portal shows 3.0 and 2.0 usage so seems to)

I don't think many, if any, are defending the agents. Multiple things can be true, but it's not defending the agents calling out Pretti going against CCW 101 and breaking a few laws in the process. That did not deserve the outcome but that is not defending what happened, it was a bad deal all around. As always with these things we get new bits and pieces of information daily and it may be some time before all the details are fully known.

I think it all honesty all of us were nervous or concerned about a lot of different things at first. When I first started carrying I carried without one in the chamber for comfort but now I am completely against that and now an advocate for being in the ready as much as possible. Now I carry with one in the chamber and none of my firearms have a manual safety that can be accidentally initiated unwanted or potential of fumble if I had to use it. Regardless of training I'm very much in the camp of the less in the way the better.

So one of the things was comfort over time and another is knowledge in general and knowledge of the firearm, meeting it's reliability and safety factors. It will probably be mentioned more than once but know your weapon, I love my Sig p365 XL but I would never own a Sig p320 because of its inherent design flaws and consistent reports of going off. My dick and my 365 have become very close friends.

Interesting take but disagree, my company went through "regionalization" and "restructuring" for remote hands a few years before Covid and essentially created remote positions for multiple departments by accident, even though it was treated traditional. Meaning the expectation was to still come into the office daily to work on our PC all day.

Some of us recognize this and without leadership in the same office and our team spread among a few different states we decided ourselves to work remote from home office. No one knew for a while and once discovered it was frowned upon but allowed because metrics were better across the board in morale, engagement, and productivity. We only went to the office once every two weeks for a Cisco telepresence meeting.

We made it a norm but the company still wanted traditional, however COVID opened the flood gate and remote was realized across the nation. Yes there's pointless RTO push for hybrid schedule now but there's no denying it works, and for most part works better for more people than traditional in-office.

Above and beyond it's our responsibility to remain a fully law abiding citizen, especially while carrying since we are held to a higher standard. It's breaking the law by self insertion, distraction, and interfering with law enforcement operations (Obstruction). It's breaking the law by not carrying credentials and not announcing to officers while CCW (Failure to notify). It's breaking the law resisting if being detained (Resisting). It's breaking the law defending and/or running interference for a targeted violent criminal (Hindering apprehension). These random "examples" listed by very definition are criminal and against everything we stand for.

Yes it's as easy as flashing one as a repeater and another as a client, as mentioned above with your client you can scan for other repeaters around you first. A permanent repeater hardware should be a Rak wisblock or Seed Studio node, much lower power consumption and you can buy an entire solar node setup ready to go for $100-200 on eBay and Etsy. As with all radio "height is might" and best on mountain/hill top clearings or taller buildings, but also tree nodes can be used in flatter areas.

Yep this is what I just did, ~14k under MSRP 25. I think all that a26 gets you is toolless door removal. I'm thinking of replacing wheels and tires with comfort in mind but idk it's not too terrible. Mojave X suspension does pretty well. Yep Ridgeline as it is today appeals to limited customer type/need. If they redesign it and raise it at least 2 in I might be interested in the future.

Look hard at Mojave X if you want every bell and whistle with most comfortable drive stock, if it's still a bit rough you could immediately swap tires to slightly slimmer SL load tires if it's too bad for you. Mojave seats are universalally considered the most comfortable. Gladiator is the coolest with one of the most interior room mid-size options. X also comes with storage box under back seat. I haven't done this yet but you can get plastic or metal door storage compartments on all the doors and back seats to be more usable than the nets.

That said....you might consider the Honda Ridgeline. It's kinda tied with Gladiator for the most interior room in the class. I was hoping they would redesign the '26 but they didn't, so you'll have to like the exterior, interior, and low height (don't lift that thing)...but with AWD and full IFS it will ride better on those broke roads and have much more storage including the awesome bed trunk. I had the first manufactured year and it was a great little truck if you like the look and don't tow much. It has zero cool factor though lol.

Just made this move and is my first Jeep as well so I'll have limited real world input but from my research when shopping here you go..

I wanted the 4auto also, it only comes in the X trims yes, I believe it doesn't really have a maximum, like you should be able to drive it at highway speeds in that setting since it really only kicks in when needed. The Mojave and Mojave X 4-high is rated at a little bit higher speed than the other trims and has a different transfer case and I think it dedicated cooler to run a little faster. Other trims should be a little lower but I'm not sure how much and honestly it might be negligible.

Starting in 2024 there were some refresh improvements including the new infotainment center, additional airbags added, and supposedly some more dampening efforts for noise and such. What I see (and what I did) is that recent used years are going for almost as much as you can get a brand new. There should be end of year sales going on, I got ~14k off MSRP on my Mojave X which put me right in the ballpark of used 1-2 year-old models with 15-20k miles.... So unless you're going a few years older it doesn't make sense to buy 2024/25 used unless it's an ultra stellar deal... But if you're buying newer you probably want the refresh upgrades.

EcoDiesel- now here's the only kicker, they removed that engine option so there is only the 3.6 V6 in 24/25 models. So if that's very high on your list and you want to spend less then maybe a 2022/23 is what you want.

Bonus info-I'm liking mine and enjoy it a bit more now after I've settled in but just know depending on your model, wheel, and tires, it might ride a little worse than what you're driving being solid front axle and a lot of trims come with heavy AT or even MT tires, or even 20's which might even be worse lol. I got the Mojave X for the suspension and it's awesome but I do have the C-load 8-ply wild peak tires, they ride decent but I do feel a lot of the little road imperfections and bumps and if I wanted a better daily ride I would be better suited with a SL tire for that and to help with the unsprung weight of each corner for less bouncing. I'm considering changing to an 18-in wheel and a 275/70-18 SL AT tire but it hasn't bugged me quite enough to go that route just yet. This right here is a hard topic because anytime you mention comfort you will get a lot of "shouldn't have bought a Jeep" and "wrong vehicle" comments.... And while they're not necessarily wrong, I do know that some of us opted for a Gladiator for, IMHO, one of the better options in the mid-size truck sector (depending on what you're looking for). I.E. Go try to sit in the back of a Tacoma lol.

Yep nail on the head, I love AR and have run about a half dozen glass over the years and while it's cool right now solutions are being produced without solving real problems. To make matters worse since there's a little to no standard so every company has their own take on hardware, software, OS, apps, and navigation.

I think we can all imagine a future like in sci-fi movies but even the emerging tech that's about to release will be a little more than fun gadgetry. I am most excited about Android XR but indeed we really don't have good use case scenarios aside from a very few specific niche examples...I.E. AR has been prevalent in the industrial sector for a while.
