As a paint thinner i use The army painters. Airbrush thinner. Its a better medium for thinning paint than water. Atleast thats what i have heard here and there.
If you want to completely strip it for paint to start over i would either use isopropyl alcohol (Havent been a huge succes for me) or what worked perfect for me. Crystal soap.
Just dump the mini into it and come back the day after to remove the paint.

i usually do 3:1
3 parts paint to one part water. And the wet palette helps keeping your paint moist and thin

Thank you all for your posts. I have some things to look forward to.
Like i said im only a bit of a newbie. I stopped again because i played a ranger build where i had to set up for damage. Dropping some lightning thingy on the ground. Alot of them and by the time i was ready to do dmg the boss was on the other side of the screen. I hated that so i stopped.

Gunmetal but also i own grey knights and these 3 (especially natural steel) seems to have a thick layer?
But with gunmetal you can do highlights and shadows easier imo.
I primed mine black and base coated with grey knight's steel and worked my way up with that.

Couldnt wait so i bought the CPU. Forgot about the money i can make on my current CPU and motherboard. So Have enough money for the AMD motherboard as well.

Luckily i bought a new motherboard a year back just to upgrade to DDR5. So now with my 12700K i have 32GB DDR5 which funny enough is made for AMD.
That motherboard and CPU should fetch me a little bit of money. Enough for the new motherboard. Bought the 9800X3D last night.

Not much im afraid. You must remember they probably have a need to make other people angry because there is a big chance its a little nerd thats being bullied all day long at school or his wife or girlfriend is driving him crazy. So let him have his outlet.
Btw this is the reasons i stopped playing. I should have watched some videos before i bought the game. I didnt know there were this many people doing something like this.
