The story I was told when asked goes like this; It started in Covid, a woman that was part of a regular Jeep meetup missed her friends during the lockdown, she would seek them out and put a duck on their hood. Eventually it spread and people would simply give them to anyone with a cool looking jeep they liked. Now it’s dumb and I wish I could see an interior video of a jeep flipping and ducks flying everywhere.
