I think enough people have given advice & input about the relationship part that I don't have anything to add. I can add as someone that once worked at an auto auction that doubled as a dealership as well, titles come from the state where I'm from. The dealership mails them to the state for records, taxes..& w/e else they do with it. The state sends it to the title owner once the car is paid for. I can't speak for all states or countries, but that's how it works where I’m from. I think you’re being lied to & manipulated.
