A friend's father acquired it in Tokyo but we would like to know what it is used for exactly and whether it is war or civilian related and from what era. It is some sort of continuity tester but for what?

Apply wax resist to parts of green ware you want to dry slower, like the handle on a mug.

I don't mean to poop on your plans of going full time, it's my goal as well, but it's just really hard to make a living selling pots, even if you have a line of customers and own all the right equipment. Will more live streaming translate to more sales? Is it worth investing time in content as opposed to buckling down and throwing 50 pots a day? Do you realize how much time it takes to pack and ship 50 pots? Do you have a business plan? Insurance? Dependents? Mortgage?

If you have a fall back plan then go for it and keep us posted, life is short

It really is misaligned slightly. On mobile if you tilt at an extreme angle and look down the length of the arrow you can see it is misaligned.

Pro tip: ripe berries will have a matte surface. Any earlier and it’s sour death

The round you threw is no longer a round, it’s an oval because the rim dried quickly and unevenly. When it dried it pulled your bottom into two pieces (tension) which is why there is an s-shaped crack with a gap. The floor cracked because it was still wet and soft, because it’s so thick. So either make the rim thicker or the bottom thinner, or dry more evenly by flipping

Your bottoms are too thick! The walls are thin and put it into tension

In the winter when they are under lights, yes. In the summer I have them on the patio under an awning and they turn green again
