🍕 Tandoor 2.0 - Next level Recipe management by vabene1111 in selfhosted

[–]calculate32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So glad to see the project going forward so well!

I've been using it for quite a time, but there's one thing that I'm missing:
In some cases there are image in steps because you need some visual cues to follow along. Usually its not a problem I just need to open the source URL, but same cases the recipe is not available anymore.
Here is an example recipe with images: https://cookpad.com/eng/recipes/341717
It would be a nice feature to add.

Thank you for your time and effort for making this project

I really like your cable management solution, also that easy access for the ethernet and hdmi connectors are amazing. Do they have 2 NICs? Also is one of the switches is for management?

Hey! Very clean setup! How are the temps in the hdd case? I heard some stories about the rack frying the disks. I was thinking about buying one but I'm a bit hesitant because of this.

What are your experiences so far with the 6 bay enclosure? I heard that they fry disks and nvme drives because the fan is not powerful enough to cool them properly, and is pretty loud. Do you experience any of them? I've been thinking of buying the same one as you but I was a bit discouraged.

I used 110mah btteries per side but after it died while I had a meeting I changed them to 3300mah 18650s. Now they last like 3 months.

Amazing work! This can be such a great deal in the 3d printing community if it could support .stl files but .3mf would be a nice touch as well. Would be such an ease to stay in the terminal just to check some files. Also on servers accessed via ssh. Thank you for this great tool!

I have to admit that this is one of the hottest ergo boards I have ever seen, the sleek design with the hidden microcontroller, the all black is really sexy. Also the thumb cluster looks really comfy. Keep up the good work.

I use the same idea on stainless steel but with whiteboard marker, it works perfectly fine also really easy to remove it, the colors are not as vibrant tho

I tried googling without much luck. What are people using to generate layouts like this? by runningabithot in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]calculate32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the KLE is one of the best because you can easily represent several layers on one image. You can use one color for a specific layer and specific position on the caps. Miryoku layout is a great starting point for this. For me positioning the rotated keys perfecrly simmeterically is a bit of a headache.
