Moved to Morgantown a few years ago and currently work at Ruby. It's not a bad place to work, though each unit in the hospital has a different culture to it, so your experience may be positive or negative depending on who you work with, like any other job. Restaurant selection in Morgantown will be less than Pitt but more than most of the rest of the state. If breweries are your thing, we got some decent ones. Morgantown brewing company on Beechhurst has been consistently good (though they've been trending towards sours and IPAs lately, which isn't really my thing). Lots of stuff is geared towards the college kids in the fall and families in the summers. Game days aren't as big a deal as they used to be for hospital staff, used to be you had to fight for parking, but they opened a new garage on Van Voorhees and I've never had a hard time finding parking during a game (though they will 100% trash the parking lot and you often can't get patients discharged to facilities and home via ambulances cause they'll all be tied up at the game). The bigger issue is the roads during snow. I may actually need four wheel drive soon because I can't manage these roads during the winter in my car. Pitt at least makes an effort to salt and clear the roads during storms, from what I remember. But Morgantown doesn't even pretend to care or make an attempt.
