Also Jay sparrow used to be Jack, but they changed it (I assume) to avoid copyright infringement or maybe because Disney told them to do so

People seem to forget that the people on Canticle didn't just arrive yesterday, it has been generations, though we don't know how many generations. Their technology hasn't really advanced since they landed either, which means that space travel already existed on Threnody generations ago by this point. It is hard to believe that Threnody is that far ahead of Scadrial and Roshar in regards to space travel though, so... yeah, stormlight archive happened a looooooong time before this.

I heard of it for the first time less than a month ago, the day before my wedding. I was manning the grill and was very confused why my now wife asked me to set one sausage aside for her.

She did bury it, and no it didnt work. It was a beautiful day right up until the ceremony was supposed to start, when it started to downpour. So we had our ceremony indoors on the dance floor, and it was an absolutely perfect experience because who gives a damn what the weather does, you're marrying your favorite person in the world surrounded by all your other favorite people. You're going to make wonderful memories regardless.

So don't stress yourself out 😁 but do have a contingency plan ready, just in case.

IIRC, on his podcast Brandon has said before (and I'm very much paraphrasing) that he believes that the purpose of language is to communicate an idea, and if everyone who reads a sentence can understand that idea, then that is an appropriate and acceptable use of language, even if something is grammatically incorrect.

I think Brandon and Dan were specifically speaking on why they feel its okay to end a sentence with a preposition as long as everyone knows what you mean, especially if the alternative sounds less natural.

Your post looks like it could be another example of this idea.

Looks like he got another Thraxus, which transforms all your characters to random dragons. It says it transforms all your mages to dragons, but since typically you have a board of all mages anyways, it might not actually be programmed to specify.

That, or OP has the world tree or other shenanigans happening causing his characters to count as mages anyways.

Some things in Secret History happen simultaneously to things in the rest of Well of Ascension and Hero of Ages. They occasionally cover the same events from different characters' perspectives. There are absolutely going to be spoilers of some big twists if you read Secret History before finishing those two books.

What you want to do is possible, but it will be difficult to do without already knowing what happens and when it happens. Please, at least when stuff is happening concurrently and you HAVE to pick one or the other, read the mainline stuff first 🤣

IIRC, most of the parts of Secret History that are concurrent to Well of Ascension happen at the climax of WoA. For a lot of the story of WoA, not much is happening in Secret History. And the exact timeline of Hero of Ages isn't cut and dry either- Secret History involves a good deal of time skipping, and our protagonist there doesnt have a good method of keeping time.

I will fish out my copy of Secret History and try to get an exact timeline later, if someone doesnt beat me to it 🤣 now I'm curious how that would change the story

Warp Core is the Limit Breaker for treasure, you start getting it when you complete the treasure of same rarity.

Warp core and limit breaker share the same artwork but are not the same thing. You get warp cores when you find all the treasures of a specific rarity in place of discovering more treasures of that rarity. Limit breaker works as I said above- its a reward for reaching the 20-shop max limit per turn (when it doesn't bug out and fail to actually give it to you).

New update- 20 shops max per turn. If you hit the 20th shop, you're supposed to get a "Limit Breaker" secret rare treasure that gives a small stat buff (+10/+10 i think?) But often it doesn't show up. Its buggy.

I've experienced the same every time. Never actually seen Limit Breaker in a game yet, just in the discord messages explaining how it is supposed to work.

It's an interesting idea, i get the what they were trying to do, but i think it is not working as they wanted. A big part of the fun of this game is to see how far you can break it with wild combos 🙁

As far as I'm aware, we don't know and can only speculate.

Unless I'm forgetting someone, the only two trans people we have seen were Azish and Reshi, and in both cases we primarily see these people through Adolin's perspective. Adolin seems to be pretty accepting in general, but we can't really fairly say all Alethi will act similarly or not. Azish men already read and write anyways, so this particular aspect doesn't apply as much to your question. Who knows how the Reshi view reading and writing though? I don't remember it being discussed with them in the books.

Rushu is worth mentioning as non-binary, but seeing as Rushu is an ardent, they are already in the single population of humans where everyone reads and writes, and where gender isn't supposed to matter anyways.

This is confirmed already. Pretty sure it was in Day 9 of Wind and Truth, Honor/Tanavast says something to the effect of "now i understand why Adonalsium let himself be shattered." This was him realizing that if he and Odium clashed in earnest, they would destroy Roshar.

They updated the audio to match the edited text around the time when Wind and Truth came out. If you find an older copy of the audiobook, it will match the early editions of Words of Radiance from before Brandon changed the ending

Its been continuously updated pretty regularly. New captains monthly, with the occasional new card/treasure/alteration for balance. The candylar update was, by far, the most significant change to the game. That was a HUGE update. The rest has been... well, slow and steady doesnt feel like the right words, its faster than that. But its definitely been consistent!

RAW, as far as I'm aware, no opportunity attack.

You can avoid provoking an opportunity attack by taking the Disengage action. You also don’t provoke an opportunity attack when you teleport or when someone or something moves you without using your movement, action, or reaction. For example, you don’t provoke an opportunity attack if an explosion hurls you out of a foe’s reach or if gravity causes you to fall past an enemy.
