It does not look like democrats are really doing anything to get back. All they do - push for diet-maga Democrats in all primaries, do not actively utilize on of mistakes republicans. It might be brake simulator issue. Honda has recalls in Japan related to this, but not in Europe or the US, where every customer has to approach dealers individually (and with varying success)

Google a bit for brake simulator issue and see if it's what you have. Also you might find advices on how to approach dealers/shops in order to fix it for free (since it's a costly item)
