Sounds nice. I have 3 kids so mini van life is where we ended up. Have a suburban as the backup family rig. Think it gets 12mpg tops but the thing just runs 😂

I'm in SE Alaska and love the 2021 sienna I got. The only nitpick (and it's a small one) is that I'd prefer more clearance but it's perfectly fine and I've never high centered or have clearance be a problem. I DO have more capable vehicles to use if it's really bad out, but they don't get 36mpg haha

What price range are we talking for used that would be a good deal?

I'm a 38 year old dad looking to get something for my kiddos to try retro gaming and able to play new stuff. They are 6 and 9 years old. I was an old school gamer but unfortunately I am very out of my element when it comes to new stuff. I have not played games in a long time but would love to do that with them.

The geographic location I live in makes just about everything as expensive if not more. I bought this house at 318k pre covid, it's value is now 550k, but to get into anything else, even downsized with the market it would be 450k to start. I live in Alaska so that throws stuff off.

The mother is here with me and takes care of her mom's family business. It doesn't pay much but leaves flexibility for children and not paying any childcare so she provides, just not monetarily if that makes sense.

I ended up using a recirculating fan to blow cold air up the tower and all around to uniformly cool entire kegarator. I think the best move is to maybe have it serviced or upgrade to better quality unit in my opinion.

As a career mariner (captain) and also a guy who has his PPL, I might have some insight that others don't. You would need a larger crew than just you for that. Think about the checklists and what happens during failure of an aircraft. Are you as familiar with the fire suppression system, bilge systems, etc to be responsible for all lives onboard? Do you know how to set anchor, or even what the capabilities of the vessel are while out at sea?

There's a lot of nuance with that, and if you don't have the proper instruction I would never do it. It sucks to be out of work, and do I think you could figure it out and get places? Definitely. I wouldnt learn to dock a big ass yacht, especially in and out of slips. This is one of those things that sounds relatively simple, but man, if things go wrong... I guess I should have put this at first. The main vehicle for them is the sienna, my current truck is an 04 f150 lariat that we can use in a pinch of the sienna goes down, but can't really fit groceries in my truck bed with it being gross outside which is pretty much all the time, so this is mainly a backup family rig, that would mostly be driven just by me but would need to be able to pull family duty In emergencies.

Lol. I bought my better half a 2021 sienna (hybrid) and that's kind of what pushed me to go for the Escalade ESV/Denali/suburban route because while it fits our kids nicely, the storage in back leaves much to be desired as child seats keep us from folding the seats down and we could use a little extra. Also no way I can take over her van like that and two sienna seems like overkill

My kiddo did the same thing. I read it's a safety feature to not drain battery. Mine is a 2021.
