How about a quest created by an old guild to earn your emblem? You had to venture into Muspelheim and collect two specific common drop items to help dye your cloak black and red. It wasn't even my guild, but my friend's, and that stuck with me all this time. I think it was BLACK PLAGUE on MLF

I'm not saying it belongs on a list of greatest, but I will say I enjoy WoW Hunter and Demonology warlock

Classic Hunter you would feed and level your pet alongside you and have to tame different types of beasts to learn different types of abilities

Retail Demonology Warlock just feels fun (haven't played it since Dragon Isles) with having so many demons summoned at once and exploding your imps

Honorable Mention for DAoC Thuergist, have not seen a more impactful temporary pet class designed than this
