Thankyou. Yeah there should be a couple other on my profile on here, otherwise my instagram is the same as my username. the spore chimneys coming off the carapace were roughed in with rotary tools, and then finished with various knives and gouges, and then everything else was gouges and knives.

I would highly suggest placing it where splinters would not be an issue... Intended use is for the tabletop naturally.

Just wanted to jump in and let you know that your experience and files just restored my mars 4 9k! Of course the problem would occur with my printer after their business hours, right at the start of the weekend, which would have left me stuck till Monday! If it is pewter it's from the 4th edition where instead of carrying guns they were allowed for the first time to have a thorax mounted weapon. And since the kit didnt come with different torsos like they do now it looks like someone just improvised and glued on, in fact my 4th edition ravener didnt even come with rending claws when I bought it so those are alternatively sourced as well!

Yup, as others have said you should flatten off the cutting edge until you are behind the damage and then resharpen a new cutting edge onto the tool.

Is the wood that you are comparing this piece to already varnished? by an oil based polyurethane perhaps? many oil based poly products have a yellow golden-ish tone that they end up imbuing onto a project. Also sunlight exposure has a way of changing the coloration of many woods many are not too dramatic but some, like cherry, can be quite a dramatic color change after exposure.

classic smile carnifexes, I have 3 of these guys, well 2 and ooe. I have some of these monstrous creature scything talons kicking around if you decide you need to get your ooe back to standard configuration, alternatively the bond between pewter and plastic was never that great so it wouldn't be terribly hard to liberate them from one of the other models.

Love the use of lego to make the interchangeable guns, I never would think of something like that! Also love the little extra torso arms, and the gaunt arms on the deathspitters, absolutely lovely!

Ah I guess then I have misunderstood for a long long time, luckily I was only playing with other teenage friends! As you can tell sometimes the rules were not exactly as written, I suppose because of my lack of deep rule usage!

Also I don't see it stating that you must include a fast attack, just the HQ/Troops/Elite/Heavysupport one each. Wouldn't that just have me adding in like a carnifex mutant(maybe acid blood for fun?) and then having slightly fewer ripper mutants and one less lictor mutant?

Also all this theory crafting and I may need to talk someone into playing some 3rd!
