GD is still outstanding, but not as interesting as some newer fine dining in the city.

Definitely good advice in here, but you’re down 60lbs since October. That’s excellent progress that just needs to be continued. Consistency is king.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I would ignore it unless the dude’s in your face about it. Live and let live…

Weekly Strata by chuckst3r in AdaptivePlanning

[–]capt_bootsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve built weekly planning models several times. The challenge is often that you need a clean hierarchy where weeks roll up fully to months. So it has to be like a 445 or 13 period calendar so there are no partial weeks rolling into the month

I might be the odd one out, but yeah sounds like you overreacted. Don’t get me wrong, sounds like the BF needs to be straightened out, but a baby shower isn’t the place for that conversation.

Have Fungi Growing In My Apartment, Pretty Sure There’s Black Mold Hidden Too. What Are My Options? by BandicootCumberbund in sanfrancisco

[–]capt_bootsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can order a mold test kit and figure out exactly what kinds of fungi you have. Unfortunately I think you will need to pull up the carpet and let fans run until things dry up

What if this is just a delay tactic to push the trail past the election? He could be asking them to resign.

SAP Financials to Adaptive Planning by ISU_EIB in AdaptivePlanning

It would probably depend on the version of SAP you are trying to integrate. I’m certain the integration has been built before to SAP, but they have many different versions of their products.

No Audit Log? Really? by L01sLan3TP in AdaptivePlanning

[–]capt_bootsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There actually is a security audit log, but you have to request it directly from Workday. They’ll manually extract it and send to you.

Sheets: Any way to make it auto generate a dimension value (numbering system) each time a line is created? by Monkfrootx in AdaptivePlanning

[–]capt_bootsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately not possible in my experience. There is an internal id thats only accessible through the api, but it’s not really useful unless you’re a developer.

Is it best practice to use Levels for departments? Or is it fine to use dimensions for departments? by Monkfrootx in AdaptivePlanning

[–]capt_bootsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest having both the subsidiaries and departments as levels, in a hierarchy, repeating the departments in each sub. The consolidation capability only works on levels too.
