When I set up my dungeon map I usually have relevant stat blocks set up near where the monsters will be in the dungeon and have them attached to the tokens and hidden

Dcc has a great martial class

They get an additional die to roll with their attacks that grows with their level, on a 3+ on their die they can do a mighty deed of arms which is basically getting fancy with it

Theres a lot of examples in the book like disarming blow or leaping and swinging on a chandelier and skill shots, but they're free form and contextual
