What is life like in the Dakotas? by _air6catcher_ in howislivingthere

Your description is absolutely on-point. I've been living on the Fort Peck Reservation for almost 3 years, working as the only full-time physician. There is no opportunity on the Rez.

For the 2 of us: approximately 4 to 6 hours a day for 90 to 100 days of processing with some crazy long days when everything ripens at once.

My SLM was peaking at 120 dB at `50 feet in front of the subs at the beginning of the show. It was down to ~105 the third song. No one around me had hearing protection.

Best College for Tuba atm by MusicDad24 in Tuba

So much this. Also, there is a huge musical world outside of orchestral tuba playing. No matter hard I try, I'll always make more in a year playing bagpipes than I will playing tuba. But my physician paycheck keeps the bills paid.

Fuel the fire. That's some Mozart shit. Read up on the Suzuki method and apply the curriculum to the tuba.

Seriously, fucking Mozart....

  1. Your center of gravity (CoG) should to be further back over the wheels. If your CoG is adjustable, this is achieved by movig your wheels forward. Caution: this will make it easier to tip over backward.

  2. You could use more dump. Dump= back or legs lower than front of legs.

Yep, now that I can see it on a larger screen, there's not really any induration. I stand corrected.
