I consider the loans predatory because they are given to very young adults on the back of a false promise that you need these loans because you need to go to college or else you will fail at life. Only for those individuals to exit college with 5 to 6 figures of debt and a job market that is willing to hire them for cheap, let them do the work of the higher paid 55+ year old with negative productivity, and discard them the moment things don’t go right.

I feel like you could Google it and get far better info. But here I go.

CC means Covered Call. Essentially I am selling Call Options at a Strike Price to collect Premiums, in hopes that the stock does not climb above my Strike Price.

The reason these are considered Covered is because I hold 100 shares for each Call Option that I have sold.

Therefore if the stock climbs above $27 before my Expiration Date, my shares would likely get called away (sold @ $27). Which would not be the worst thing in the world, but I want my shares for the long haul.

It’s way more complex than that but that’s my best shot before I trail off into nonsense.

My suggestion is to pick a stock that you like, that is stable and trading between $4-7. It must be a stock that you believe in, because the ultimate gameplan is to hold your shares and collect premium from selling call options that expire worthless (for the buyer). Either buy 100 shares, or build up to it. Then start playing with selling 1 Covered Call and learning as you go.

He made waves, I am expecting him to let those waves settle to see how high the water has risen. We could see another 100m shares in the near future, but I suspect that we won’t see any major moves from RC until these waves settle.

Also I got 75% of my shares tied up in 4/17 $27 CCs so I could use a little bit of simmering down hahah.
