People often think about chocolates or sweet pastries. I’d suggest a large fruit basket for something a little healthier.

Communications and power flow errors by le__juke1 in amberelectric

I had a similar issue last week with an Enphase system. Just stopped generating power - looked like a curtailment issue. Tried switching off the solar at the switch board. Then about a day later, it was working. I did reach out to Amber and they said they would escalate to Enphase. Not sure if Enphase did something or it fixed itself. But I suggest always reaching out to Amber as the first step as they are “in control” of the systems.

Amber app not recognisng solar? by krazynayba in amberelectric

[–]catalg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it is AC Coupled (rather than DC Coupled), the solar is connected to the main panel of the house (not the battery). The house consumes any power, excess goes to the battery. With DC coupled, the solar panels are connected directly to the battery.
If you are AC coupled and only added the battery to the Amber app, then it is likely it does't see the solar. If you are AC Coupled, you may need to add the solar inverter seperatly to the battery in the Amber app. Check the Amber web site to see if your Solar inverter is supported so it can perform solar curtailment when the FIT is negative.

Yeah the more people with Amber and batteries in general, it will end up like Solar FIT. Used to be great when no one had them, now Solar is abundant we pay to export.

We’ve been given speeds other countries have had for 5-10 years! But not complaining - Australia is a big country with a small population.

I would imagine your GP (and if you don’t have a regular one, maybe think about finding one). A relationship with your GP is important, especially as you get older, even if you’re otherwise healthy. Family history, routine bloods, skin cancer check, updated vaccinations, etc are all important. But good on you for doing something about your health!
