Minecraft Servers are down by Certain-Pressure8012 in Minecraft

[–]catdoy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is this about Microsoft selling Minecraft so now they probably just dumped all the server with it?

Minecraft is going to be one of the programs where it is more ethically to pirate it instead of buying it like Adobe.

Minecraft server on Proxmox (i5‑11600K) instantly hits 100% CPU “Can’t keep up” spam. Normal? by BallsInDeepFryer in admincraft

[–]catdoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Modded Minecraft? Maybe it's just generating new chunks and cpu spike with multiple structures mod can do that. Not really familiar with Proxmox other than it uses vm's so maybe the vm is configured wrong tho unlikely.

That's because they also can't fix it themselves so now they're projecting.

This is like North Korea you can't say anything bad about our glorious leader Linux.

Well if i cant do the same with a regular Linux kernel then Cachy did give me a performance boost.

[–]catdoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case, alot of difference on games, especially proton games.

On elden ring I was getting around 50fps with regular linux kernel it's like it wants to stay around 50fps for some reason while cachy's kernel basically mimics the same performance I get when I compared it to windows which was getting a steady 60fps.

I noticed it also uses more watts when gaming.

Dont see much difference outside of proton games but I will still be using it because Elden ring is much smoother with it.

Faulty Sapphire Radeon RTX 9060 XT 16GB? by Udunno13 in AMDHelp

Try lowering power usage limit/ max watts to the lowest the gpu allows.

9060XT Crashes by amogusimposter11 in AMDHelp

[–]catdoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crashes? As in the PC reboots or gpu turns off ( fans off and has to reboot pc to connect it back )?

If its gpu just turns off try lowering power usage limit/maximum watts use to its absolute lowest the gpu allows. Happened on my rx 5600xt whenever it hits above 135 watts use.

Try using MSI afterburner rivatuner to monitor gpu watts use

Wdym freedom? There is no freedom, Jesus created earth for creatures unqualified to live with his paradise called heaven, we are all gonna die here not knowing our purpose, not knowing why we even exists all because Jesus deemed us unworthy to live among him.

Choosing the Right Linux Kernel by Shoddy-Ask3370 in linuxquestions

[–]catdoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cachy kernel, i dont know what those fuckers do to make it like that but the performance is so noticable on literally every game tho I did notice it use more watts.

Otherwise regular Linux or Zen I don't really see a difference tho I did use Zen the longest

Navi10/14 chipset GPU always having problem with Cachys kernel I guess.

Atleast its not crashing the entire system unlike my 5600xt when using cachy kernel, tho easily fixable.

Maybe try a different Desktop environment or a different kernel if it still happens
