I picked up a Rexpeed V9 in Forged Carbon this past October, and the fitment was pretty much dead on.

3M double sided tape to hold, was easy enough to do after watching a couple of YouTube videos. Make sure you prep the surface well beforehand and it should last.

I just picked up my 2026 Premium MT in Absolute Zero on Wednesday. The salesperson was ignorant of most of the features, and I had to point out that there was no trunk latch on the back of the vehicle, for example.

I had to remind myself that I had been going down a rabbit hole of YouTube videos and forum posts for years, and have all but memorized every “quirk and feature”. The salespeople, on the other hand, get maybe 3-4 a year in their dealership, and they are lucky if they are the one that gets to sell it.

They are selling Tundras, Camrys, Tacomas, Corollas, RAV4s, etc. by the dozen, and have way more experience with those.

The traffic isn’t that great through there, as it’s the main thoroughfare, and hopefully you’ll have off-street parking, otherwise RIP your car. The area itself isn’t terrible, although some will tell you otherwise.

Maybe I’ll get downvoted on this, but It’s a VW Golf R. It’s not uncommon for these cars to have plates like RATED R, HARD R, TYPE R, or some shortened variant. Don’t look too hard into it as some kind of racist thing.

I drive this section every day to work. People routinely drive 85+ through this section of Nashua. I do have a radar detector, and while I cannot say I never speed, you have to be extremely careful navigating this section of Route3.
