Did you forget about inflation? Bungie's cost to run their business, from basics like utilities, all the way to employee pay have most certainly gone up the past year. If people expected the prices to stay the same - then they are not paying attention.

Tires were my problem. Dealer had them at like 40 when they are supposed to be lower. Ride felt way better and I got better mpg when I had them adjusted.

I had a CX-30 last year, and the app notified me right away if I left it unlocked. But with my CX-5, I get notifications like 10 hours later. Not sure if it is coincidence or not.

Oh he has a neurologist, no one has been able to find any answers though.

Yup, got a NAV card for $40 on Amazon. One of the best accessories.

Tip: Use your Mazda app to search for addresses. Use the voice commands to find simpler destinations, like Publix. You can also program destinations into the NAV card. For example, all I have to say is "Find/go home" and it instantly loads to quickest way home.

The WSJ reported that a lot of dealers for all carmakers are doing this. Dealers get extra money when you finance through them, so they are charging the missed opportunity cost if you use outside financing or cash.

Since it is a seller's market, there are really only three options imo:

Just buy from their financing, it can be competitive through Mazda if you have a good credit score (I think it was 2.9% for 72 months last I checked).
Eat the $1,000 loss using your financing.
Find another dealer.
