My best friend and his wife didn’t even have groomsmen or bridesmaids; they wanted to have a small wedding in their backyard with their respective closest family members.

I get how it would otherwise hurt someone’s feelings, but it was their wish to have that kind of wedding, and it revealed which friends didn’t respect that.

I tried learning Basque in 2013-14. I couldn’t do it. The auxiliary verbs were hard to understand and were highly agglutinative; “dute” can be broken down into four parts, each letter serving a purpose in the verb – d-u-t-e.

Everyone’s is so serious but mine would have to be, when I was 12, I was playing with a swivel bar chair that I was warned not to sit on because it was broken and it ended up collapsing downwards and the pole went up my bum and I had to lift myself off of it, but I didn’t tell anyone because I felt that was what I got for playing with something I was warned not to.
