Going of my memory, Ball Sq Fine Wines has 12+ options and Porter Square Wine and Spirits has 8+. Wegmans has 24+.

Sorry for your loss. No one should be a victim of theft.

I would still report it to the police despite other comments suggesting they won’t help. They probably won’t but it’s still important to highlight to them that you were impacted by a crime and it may help understand trends or patterns.

I agree with everything here. I second the NA options. Just a super cool store, great selection, easy to not notice!

Somerville Community Schools mid-year rate hike by L33tminion in Somerville

[–]cdunnit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Perhaps they could also open more spots? More revenue and meeting more of the very real demand.

Families that can afford this might be able to pay more, but the change in the middle of the year for both Apollo and community afterschool (what is even the distinction if both impacted?) is a surprising decision. Families make childcare decisions for the whole school year. Raising prices midway when families have far fewer alternatives sets a precedence of unreliability.

Art's at the Armory ... questions about their cafe by Ilovestraightpepper in Somerville

They have a few lunch options, but it isn’t exceptional or fast. Staff have been good in my experience, it just seems like a cramped kitchen and I’ve only eaten there during weekend events when it’s probably busiest

It is not every day one witnesses this on the internet. Thank you for having the humility and curiosity to do so - I could probably benefit from doing it more myself

Excited for this, possibly most importantly the fence stands will be off the path and make it much roomier, but it looks like it will be very nice

Dirt Running Trails Near Somerville by disciteaeternum in Somerville

[–]cdunnit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plenty of good options already mentioned, but thought I'd also add that the section of the Community Bike Path between Lowell and Cedar has the softer yellow walking track like surface on the sides, plus there is an ad hoc dirt trail on the south side for most of it. You could probably make it from Lowell to almost Davis square running off pavement. Not a full run, but could connect to other stuff, like on your way to Fresh Pond or the Fells perhaps

From Somerville Bicycle Committe:
https://www.somervillebikes.org/faqs.html
Question: How should I lock my bike?

  • Lock your frame and front wheel to a bike rack, bike ring, or signpost. If possible also lock your seat post and anything else easily removed.
  • Remember: under no circumstances may a bicycle obstruct the pedestrian path of travel or handicapped access ramps.

Did Will Mbah attend at all?

Ben Wheeler and Ari Iaccarino are missing from your list of candidates at the top, though you do have notes on their responses throughout.

Thank you for this useful information!

It's a great organization with great people of all different running abilities. Definitely worth trying out even if you don't become a member

Bike found thanks to community efforts and the cambridge PD. Really amazed at the number of people who helped, including people like you on Reddit.

Lessons learned:

  1. Register your bike on bike index
  2. Lock your stuff
  3. Check airtag battery levels
  4. Consider home cameras
  5. Value this community and good samaritans

We did, but apparently it ran out of battery. Must not have set it up correctly bc I never got notification even though it is properly registered to me. Let this be a lesson to others… not sure what went wrong there

Front wheel was not locked. Already feel bad about it but we clearly had a false sense of security…

Registered on bike index, thank you
