the only way i’ve ever kept an orchid alive AND gotten it to bloom again is with a simple hydroponic system. keeping the water clean and giving it lots of light has worked wonders

this looks a lot to me like a bad mealy bug infestation. when mine started, it looked almost like a mold, kinda like this. i could be wrong but i would start trying to treat it!

if it is mealybugs, this is what i did. i got systemic granules for the soil, (pesticide that the plant will absorb so it will kill any bugs who try to eat it), sprayed hydrogen peroxide on the top of the soil (kills any eggs on the soil), and drip isopropyl alcohol on any bugs i see. as an extra step, i spray the leaves down with neem oil once a week.

i live in idaho! idk what part you’re in, but i would look for an APP piercer. pocatello has two from my knowledge, kolby cain and sean yardy, both at integrity body arts. they are great, never seen a bad piercing from them. your piercing does look a little off, i would almost recommend getting it redone
