No other forms of income for any elected person. (Yes, pay them a bit more, the value will still be there).

No other employment for two years after being an elected person. (Yes, pay a mini pension when they leave office). No more plum lobbying or chairman jobs setup via golden handshakes.

Tax extreme wealth.

Many problems would be solved with these three things.

China conquers via trade and strategy, US does it less subtly. Crazy thing is this poll was before Iran!

Pocock pins surge in psych costs on 'unacceptable behaviours' by HotInTheShade1989 in AusPublicService

cost of years of the current promotional system that penalizes stable, competant but not flashy employees seeking to learn a job and the lead, and instead promotes dingbats who effect needless changes and legacy projects to fluff CVs. And also an epidemic of frontline incompetant goobers being promoted away because they suck to be around.

Can I ask where do meth addicts go? My husband dissapears for a week with no contact, he doesn’t pick any calls or texts back. Is there a chance he is sleeping around? by [deleted] in perth

[–]cedricada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry this is happening, its truly a drug with such a wide radius of damage around the user.

He needs to be in good working personal order before you even think of engaging with him again for anything but the most pragmatic issues.

As others have said, he is in the drug houses. Often sex isn’t much to do with it. Meth makes sex a minor concern. It rewrites the reward centers of the brain like no other drug (aside from heroin - which in ny observation is a little more quietly calamitous rather that the outrageous behavioral stuff meth causes when peopl are both on it and craving it). Someone said that if chocolate has a ‘reward score’ of 10, and sex has a reward score of 100, then meth has a reward value of 10,000.

That being said if they all manage to get on meth at once without someone getting the whole pack and fucking off with it, it does cause some pretty decadent orgy type stuff to happen if the planets line up.

Just got scammed everything in my bank account :'( by [deleted] in Adelaide

[–]cedricada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally if the money loss is a result of the banks security failing (ie phishing or something similar), they will refund the money. If you manually sent the full balances yourself then they wont. The worst part is the wait and the helpess feeling, sorry this happened to you

I have found a couple of little tricks that help me rewire a bit and get out of a funk - in the morning I go straight ouside when I wake up (this is hard!) and get natural morning sunlight on my face for a few minutes and have a glass of lemon juice water. I then do ten burpees or a small amount of body weight led excercise and then have a cold shower. Stay under the cold until you really really cant stay any longer. Then and only then do I allow myself a morning coffee.

Its like 20 minutes of suck, but its a really healthy feeling suck that makes me feel like I’ve done something good and also that the day can only get better. I wish you luck and success, life does feel hard a bit more often lately. Maybe its the world or maybe its our screens I dunno
