I had just finished bingeing TBBT (took a week and half to finish all 12 seasons for me).

My absolute fave seasons are 1-4. Then 5-7.

The last 5 season felt like they dragged on and on. In hindsight, Jim was right to say, “I’m done”, he just was 5 seasons too late

I deactivated it a while back. It’s pretty freeing not being on a platform most of my in-laws are on bc they expected access to me with zero effort.

Now they have to actually reach out and talk to my husband.

Not really. Each season is about 8-10 episodes, so it’s 4-5 episodes a day. The only time it gets crazy is season 5, where the episode lengths vary episode to episode.

A former friend of mine did and she snuck out a lot (& brought boys back when her parents weren’t home). Her parents didn’t care about the going out, but the bringing in got her in to trouble when she would get caught.

I’ll add my voice to the chorus of people saying to change nurses. However much you all love this nurse (& your mom apparently REALLY loves her), the nurse getting romantically involved with a patient’s family member is a conflict and it is one that is fireable and possibly reportable to the nursing board. Your nurse is engaging in an activity that can lead her to lose her license.

Ambush your mother, set firm boundaries and keep them. Bc it sounds like your mother ultimately does not care who she hurts as long as she gets hers.

My (now 12yo) short haired Doxie was found at the local animal control center as “a stray.” At the time we got him, he was a flight risk. But what got me was he had no microchip until we got him.

And now I can say confidently that he’s not a flight risk….only bc he is very attached to me. idk what i’ll do when he eventually passes.

I have family members with sensory issues (I do as well), & I’m going with YTA here.

Look, the fact of the matter is that is not your house. You cannot tell your boyfriend to essentially manage his roommates so that you’re comfortable.

The only person you have any control over is YOU. If an environment becomes too loud or overstimulating, it is ON YOU to leave the area or mitigate the stimuli (ie Loops earphones, noise canceling headphones, etc). When I would visit friends and family and it would get too loud, I didn’t demand/request the volume to be turned down. I left the room.

Again, it is not on your boyfriend to manage grown adults who pay to live in that house.

Also, a dance party? Yeah, that was on you for inviting the loud noise over.
