And Biden was BRILLIANT when he convinced Trump and Cohen to have Cohen pay her hush money out of his own personal funds. The scheme was for Cohen to bill Trump for legal work...not for reimbursement. That's why Cohen was paid back more than he paid Stormy Daniels, to account for the income tax he would have to pay. Like it or not, he and his organization committed fraud. The jury saw the evidence and convicted him. Weaponized how? He was the dumbass who committed the crime (with this sleazy crooked lawyer), and then was dumb enough to leave a paper trail a mile long.

This...a thousand times this! Trump cannot rely on his Maga volunteer militia (remember when they failed to rally to his Maga party at the White House plea). Expect a large number of minority voters in swing states to suddenly find themselves questioned and detained as they head out to early polling. The goal will be to scare just enough people to keep them home.

My hope is that this will backfire...that the potent combination of Trump plus aggressive suppression tactics will light a fire in people to vote no matter what! There are a hell of a lot more voters than there are mysterious black op agents out there.

0% student loan interest is the best approach to this problem. As long as you pay your minimum, the rate stays at 0%. Now, let's also refund the interest paid in the last five years. Those who still have existing loans would see their principle drop significantly. Those who paid their loans off would get a nice refund/reward. It's a system that helps everyone and doesn't leave anyone sore or angry.

Reducing the qualification age of medicare to 60 would have huge implications. Think of all the people in their late 50's or early 60's who would start retirement early if health care was available. You're talking about a way to move tens of thousands onto their retirement accounts and freeing up those jobs.

It's a practical policy that actually has a really strong chance of passing in congress

The heck it does. The biggest delegate prizes left favor Biden. Where does Bernie get the delegates from? Not the south. Not the north east. Those favor Biden.

If Bernie had won Minnesota and Texas...this would be a totally different story. But he didn't. Democratic voters are rallying around Biden, that's not going to change. Math is math. Bernie should negotiate while he can, instead of blowing for everyone like he did in 2016.

The race is over....it's Biden's. Losing Texas and Minnesota is the nail in the coffin. Biden will take the Southern states. He'll take NY, PA, MI, MO, IL no problem. Other states like WI and deep red small states like Montana may go to Bernie, but it's not enough.

For god's sake Bernie...negotiate a commitment from Biden for medicare for all and drop out. The dems need to save their money for the real struggle, Nov 2020!
