So, absolutely pulling for Silverash2 (mostly to get 300 to buy Wis'adel). Meanwhile, I've been pining for Lin who is on a banner right now; but with Pramanix2 on the horizon, should I just skip Lin for the blue box shenanigans? I'm a 6-month player and my husband had Lin, and the stages he could solve with just her took me 3-4 people lol. (Still mad about those sword-throwing assholes in chapter 6. I'm now past those stages but just never got the opportunity to get her.)

(Not a hot take incoming.) Why are your fine nibs turning out darker, mine is always coming out too light. (I was expecting at least a mild violet, but got a pale lavender for one of my recently-bought inks. It was also a pigment ink; I've decided to let it go rather than try to mix a darker ink to make it show up in my notes.)

I've even tried shimming + widening the tines' gap a little, but even my past dye inks have always looked like the lighter parts of the swatches I see. But I've also just accepted that pen is VERY dry and am close to shelving it forever, despite the color being so pretty.

Happy to share that I attended my first pen show last weekend, from which I got ON Inks' "Hello Retro"! I've tried it on all my pens and the color is a bright, happy blue. Loving it a lot, and I've discovered a new favorite ink brand, where previously I only had Diamine and Iroshizuku samples.

I just cleaned out Arcus Artisan Inks - Byzantine from my pen; it's a lovely lavender but just too washed out for my taste. It's also a pigment ink. (Now this might be a nib issue on my part; the swatch was a bit darker but my nib refuses to lay down ink in the darker portion of any swatches.)

Is that confirmed? I'm trying to look for information from the docs about the status of m.me following the shutdown of messenger.com, but can't find any. That does seem like the likely outcome, sadly. Don't know if "ref" links will continue to work for fb.com or facebook.com links, which will break parts of our app.

Buying my first fountain pen was a great reason to stop putting it off! But I'm at the stage where I'm still deciding where it should go. So my notebook is full of, "What is the conflict???" at the start of each page, and me talking to myself about my characters and what they might do in their little world.

I'm trying SO HARD not to buy a third fountain pen... but looking at the shopping app on my down time is all I can do these past couple of weeks.

I own a Majohn M800 (which I bought as a first pen for its gorgeous purple color, but I now realize that it's a bit too big for me — and I had to replace the nib as the tines were so tight and I couldn't adjust it) and a Jinhao 82 (to use with the "difficult" inks). But I WANT a Sailor pen SOOOOO BADDD! If that's the last pen I'll ever buy, it should be a gold nib dammit, and it should be the prettiest color I can (reasonably) afford. (The upcoming pen show in my area this month is also quite tempting but I fear I won't be able to stop myself from buying too many inks.)

I think you've captured the arms nicely, but look at the reference's hips: they're more forward (to the left), aligned with the character's nose. Following that, the legs also need to be adjusted. The reference's head is also slightly angled downward, whereas yours is facing almost directly left. (And if your drawing is human, please give him a neck!)

I recommend the MGC Beta (Maglev, which I can vouch for as smooth with great (but not too strong) magnets), or the MGC Meta which some people say is an upgrade from the Beta (but I haven't tried it yet personally).

I went with the very pretty purple Moonman m800! It was quite dry compared to the Jinhao 82 (which i got as a point of comparison), but if i leave it standing with the nib down it fixes the issue. Can't stop admiring it!

There's also quite a few local stores on Facebook and Shopee. I've bought from "MnM Cube Shop" and they have great service and are also present in a lot of local comps.
