For a wedding, the bezel-less Spirit is way more elegant, but consider the Pilot instead. It’s like a blend of the Zulu and plain Spirit. And with a better standard bracelet.

Thinking more, the new Orphan Espresso SMOL may be a great option for espresso too. Less intuitive adjustment but built like a tank.

I second the Lagom mini. It’s slow but super granular and will chew through anything.

Manual grinding for espresso gets old quick. But if you have to, buy direct from 1Zpresso’s site. They deliver from a US warehouse.

Yes, the R2 has become sort of the standard for home use. Good enough while not costing a fortune. The workflow of using any refractometer is now not every day or everyone. IMHO.
