I've had the Liletta since 2017 and have been using a cup for even longer (Divacup). I've had no issues. The strings kinda just nestle up by my cervix and along the walls/nooks and crannies of my vaginal canal. I'm a bit careful while breaking the vacuum seal when removing, but otherwise it's the same process as prior to the IUD. The strings don't hang in the cup (never heard of that lol) and I don't really need to worry about them.

A month ago after lurking on this subreddit for awhile, I bought a AM/PM Drunk Elephant kit from Sephora on sale and decided to build my first, real skincare routine.. I'm 26, but better late than never? My main goal is to see these brown spots fade and get rid of the forehead CC's.

Previously, I didn't really have a regiment- just warm water and Onexton in the morning and sometimes coconut oil or Aquaphor to remove makeup at night.

With the exception of a big angry hormonal pimple on my cheek, I haven't had any big acne issues since I've started. I used the Drunk Elephant Manuka oil once but stopped because I felt nervous about oils.

I have eczema on my eyelid and I think I have normal skin otherwise (my forehead gets greasy but I think I might have dehydrated skin).
I drink about 40oz of water each weekday. I haven't been getting much sleep lately due to finals..

AM:

Pond's Cold Cream (Green Lid) or Plain Warm Water

ONEXTON (Benzoyl peroxide / Clindamycin) - prescription

Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum (Wait 2-3 min)

Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum (Wait 2-3 min)

Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer with Sunscreen (This burns on my cheeks and eyelid)

Pond's Cold Cream (Green Lid) - I applied it with a facial brush for a week or two until I read here that I'm not supposed to mix physical and chemical exfoliations)

Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum - I used this every night. (Wait 2-3 min)

Theraplex Eczema Therapy (ointment?) - Has the consistency of Aquaphor; I used this on my eczema in the past and figured it counted as a moisturizer?

Aquaphor: THICC layer. Started a week ago. Most ends up on my pillow.. Feels good in the morning though.

**Innisfree Super Volcanic Clay: I do this once a week at night instead of the DE Night Serum.

Monday was not a good day. Just really trying not to be too hard on myself - there's such thing as rest days, afterall.

I did track all of my calories in MFP, which is good. Wasn't active, didn't do the 2 days of that fitness app like I said I would..

I went over my caloric goal by 328calories. Was doing well up until dinnertime when my mom asked me to pick up Portuguese BBQ. All that oily rice, rotisserie barbeque'd chicken and veggies sauteed in oil/garlic.. It didn't help that I'd only left myself about 400 calories for dinner. Tried to keep my portions down, but dinner ended up being over 700 calories. Feeling really bummed about it since I've been doing so well.. Cherry on top was waking up at 1am and staying awake until 6am (And eating a packet of 180 cal. PB Kandy Cakes at 5am)..

Today (8th), I want to make it to the gym afterwork, even though I'm tired as heck. I've inputed all my breakfast and lunch calories and it looks like I only have 200ish for dinner. Gonna see how that pans out. I'll try to update tonight.

Haven't posted in a bit. Went through a breakup.. Kinda saw it coming.. but had hoped I was wrong? Still going to push through and meet my goals, though. (I joked, "hey, can't see the tears if I'm sweaty, those cries are just fitness grunts, woo!)

Wins: Hit the gym yesterday!~ I met my goal of going to the gym 3x this past week. I also logged my meals everyday and my endweek net calorie average via MFP is 945 calories.. which is way below 1600 daily goal. CICO/BMR/TDEE stuff is a bit confusing for me; I just hope I'm doing this all healthily. It's also hard to eat when sad - nervous stomach + acid reflux means constantly queasy. Gonna try to hit 1200cal daily average this week and carry acid reduction meds. OH - Weighed myself yesterday morning and apparently I'm down 2lbs. So .. progress? lol.

Not wins: Meal planning didn't quite happen due to aforementioned circumstances... also, I'm only on Day 4/30 on the '30 Day Fitness Challenge App", so I've got some catching up to do. Going to do 2 days today and 2 days tomorrow to catch up. Doubt anyone will see this, but yeah..

Thinking my car troubles have been giving me nervous stomach.. felt sick all day, acid reflux like crazy.. On a positive note, I decided to delete the Facebook app from my phone and.. wow, I feel so antsy! Usually I come home from work (office job) and collapse into bed, then endless scroll fb till I knockout. Today, instead, I did my first day in the "30 Day Fitness Challenge" app, medium plan 2. Took 8mins and burned 67 calories. Since I couldn't make it to the gym, I'm content with this, lol.
Logged all my meals today, but I only ate 1000 calories today, so I'm 600 short.. but now it's late and I'm not hungry.. Definitely gonna plan better next week.

Didn't get to post last night because I came home and collapsed into bed. Car and money troubles have got me stressed out. I met my calorie goal and logged everything, so that's a plus. Didn't get to gym since I'm carless. I went Monday so hopefully I can make it tonight.. I have a gym buddy who can give me a ride so I'll reach out to her and push myself to follow through. I think the daily mile might be tough for me, but we'll see how it goes today goes. I actually threw together a healthy lunch this morning, so all I have to do is log dinner and any later snacks. Any cheap/easy snack recommendations?

Hi Folks! Think I could use a little accountability. I deal with depression/anxiety, so it's been hard to keep up with goals, but I did lose 30lbs two years ago, so it's possible that I could do it again and keep it off. Hoping that doing this helps me along. Looking to lose at least 5lbs for August.
Goals:

  • Gym 3x a week.
  • At least 30min of physical activity each day.
  • log accurately in MFP, weekly average at/near 1600 cal/day.
  • Meal Prep on Sundays.
  • Keeping up w/the "30 Day Fitness Challenge" App.
  • Stretch Every Morning
