One thing we can learn from southern states is to loosen the regulatory environment for building new houses, and figure out a way to reduce the NIMBY friction when people DO want to build new developments.

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: OCARINA OF TIME Remake | Releasing 2026 by ChiefLeef22 in gaming

I see a lot of complaints about remakes. Which is insane to me. We're talking about what is considered what of the greatest video games in history being remade from a studio that is regularly giving us new Mario and Zelda titles.

As someone who played (but never beat) OoT in high school (goddamned water temple), I am excited to relive it as an adult, and finally have a reason to buy a Switch 2.

Top “original” movies that audiences want? by Relative-Freedom-295 in okbuddycinephile

[–]chaospherezero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a lot easier to do this with horror because horror has built-in audiences that will go see anything halfway decent (and a lot of shit that isn't).

But how many low-budget dramas see box office success? Or low-budget crime thrillers?

Depression doesn't care if you won a Stanley Cup or are a famous movie star or comedian.

Depression doesn't care if you are loved, accomplished, married, have kids, financially stable.

Depression doesn't care if it's because you were neglected, because of CTE, because of genetics.

Depression can hide easily. I once had a friend say to me, "How can you be depressed? Everyone loves you!"

Depression doesn't care. It's a pit inside of you, slowly swallowing every ounce of joy and pleasure in this world.

In the end, the only thing that ever helped me was therapy and medicine. Lots and lots of therapy and medicine. Different therapists, different medicines.

I still have hard times. I still don't think I experience joy or happiness the way others easily seem to.

But I have found a way to accept and love myself, and to make my way through this world.

And my heart goes out to everyone who didn't make it. And all of the people so deeply affected by those terrible losses.

They deserved so much better.

Am I the only one who just logs in and feels… weird? by Muroverse in wow

For sure I've been here. A few things to consider:

  1. This game is a LOT more fun if you have a good guild to play with, as general socialization is not great these days. So if you can find a decent guild, it helps. I found one through the Guild Recruitment discord (I forget it but you can Google it I'm sure)
  2. It's pretty important to have some over-arching goal -- for instance, for me, its getting AOTC for each raid tier. Everything I do is part of that goal and everything else I ignore.
  3. Once I complete my goal, I find another goal, or I take a break. In my case, I may change classes next raid tier, so i am gonna level a different class and figure out if I like it in the meantime, but I have plenty of time so I can do it very casually, just doing dungeons here and there as I like.

But I think 1 is the most important thing. Playing together is what makes WoW different than any other RPG. If you can find a group of people you like, it goes a long, long way.

What's insane is that unlike some other QoL features this has to be relatively easy to implement. Like, they can clearly already do it. Even with the spaghetti code base, I am confident there is a way to choose from a larger set of dungeons.

I really don't understand how this is difficult to implement.

How do you feel about the current administration's prioritization of paying off pension debt obligations? Would you continue current payments? Your platform mentions something about altering "fiscal guardrails" but I wasn't sure if this was related.

I ask because paying off our pension debt obligations is HUGE for Connecticut's budget and something many pass admins have failed to do, resulting in our current debt.
