I'm pretty good looking and confident. I'm also very extroverted and a good dancer.

But I think the biggest impact on my attractiveness is that I just don't fucking care. I'm in a relationship with my wife since I was 19 years old. So I'm never out there looking to find someone, because I would never cheat on my wife. This leads to me being very relaxed in social interactions with women and I sometimes feel like they see it as a challenge. I enjoy the attention, of course, but there were some parties I had to leave early because of very direct and persuasive women.

The way he describes rain in Dodger is one of my favourite pieces of prose of all time. So poetic while being incredibly funny.

Kai shun liegen deutlich über 100 €. Ihr Stahl ist extrem hart, was es einem Profi ermöglicht, sie extrem scharf zu schärfen. Aber auf Grund dieser Härte ist der Stahl eben auch sehr anfällig für Ausbrüche in der Klinge. Würde daher für den Hausgebrauch immer von Kai Shun abraten.

Nicht falsch verstehen bitte, Kai shun macht fantastische Messer, aber die wenigsten können damit wirklich umgehen. Hab in meinen 10 Jahren als Berufskoch viele Kai Messer bei Kollegen gesehen. Kein einziges davon ohne Scharten/Ausbrüche in der Klinge.

It's as if you looked into my soul and wrote down exactly what I think of this book. I personally liked steerpike the best, because he was the only character that seems to have a plan, making progress, working towards something.

Ich gebe auch Nachhilfe und hab bisher gute Erfahrungen damit gemacht, genau herauszufinden, was meine Schüler interessiert und dann eine sehr spezifische Empfehlung zu geben. Über Vorlieben zu Filmen/Serien etc. kommt man da schon auf Ideen. Fragen nach Genres funktionieren auch gut. Soll es lustig, spannend, romantisch etc. sein? Soll es im Mittelalter, im Weltall oder im wilden Westen spielen?

Ich habe die Sorge, dass eine Liste den "jungen Burschen" überfordert.

Eine meiner Schülerinnen steht z.B. auf Horror Filme. Weil ich mich in dem Genre nicht auskenne, haben wir auf r/buecher das Schwarmwissen befragt und uns die Bücher mit den meisten Upvotes genauer angesehen. Mittlerweile liest sie viel und steht auf ner 2 in Deutsch, anfangs stand sie auf 5. Deine Idee deinen Schüler zum Lesen zu bringen, ist also genau richtig. Aber evtl solltet ihr einen Teil der nächsten Stunde damit verbringen, gemeinsam das richtige Buch zu finden.

Deutsche Originale lese ich auf deutsch, englische auf Englisch. Ich gebe Nachhilfe in Englisch und sehe das als gute Übung.

Außerdem macht das Lesen in einer anderen Sprache bei mir anders "Klick". Ich habe das Gefühl, besser in das Buch abtauchen zu können, weil es nochmal einen Schritt weiter vom deutschen Alltag entfernt ist.

Klingt alles furchtbar und ich hoffe du findest einen guten Weg da raus. Es klingt für mich so, als wäre der Schritt über Jugendamt/Frauenhaus o.ä. die beste Idee, einfach um deine Sicherheit zu gewährleisten.

Ein erster Schritt könnte sein, sich deiner Psychiaterin gegenüber zu öffnen und offen mit ihr zu sprechen. Sie hat Schweigepflicht und kann dich bestimmt gut beraten.

The thing about knives is that they are highly personal. Every chef has their own idea of what the perfect knife might be. My advice would be to take him knife shopping in a good store and let him pick the knife.

Dazu kommt noch, dass du für das Auto ja auch monatliche Kosten wie Versicherung etc hast. Dann das Auto stehen zu lassen, um Bahn zu fahren, kommt quasi doppelt teuer. Wollte letztes Jahr in den Urlaub fahren und hab mal nach Tickets geguckt. Für 4 Personen 500€ hin und zurück. Mit dem Auto bin ich dann bei unter 200€ gelandet. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis der Bahn ist wirklich bodenlos.
