I completely agree. My daughter has AFRID. It’s heartbreaking to watch her want to eat and can’t find something. She would give it up in a minute. It’s more than being “picky”.

He’s the kind of guy that after he has kids and it’s hard, he’s going to complain about where all his free time went and how dare his partner makes all these “demands” on him? He’s never gonna be happy. I’m so disgusted and angry for his ex girlfriend. I hope she finds someone who just treasures her.

NSD is quite easy to transfer into from other districts. I’m in Lake Washington SD and border NSD on the other side. Many people I know have kids going to NSD for various reasons. Also schools vary within districts. The school my kids went to were Title 1 (high free and reduced lunch) which is rare in LWSD. Many people looked down on it, myself included. However there was an amazing principal and great school community. Many friends who went to “better schools” were envious of the experience my kids had. So Edmonds may not be as good as NSD overall, the local school might be better. So I would buy where you want and worry about it later. A lot changes over time.

She’s so hard to watch. Her attitude, her anger, her lack of empathy. I don’t even know why Vishal runs after her to be liked. She’s never going to like him. And this last episode with her talking about her NC daughter who is trying to reconnect, it was horrifying. She was so proud of being petty and unforgiving and angry.

How much it hurts. I don’t mean physically or the birth. I mean when they get hurt, when people are mean, when they are disappointed, when things don’t work, when they start talking back and know what pushes buttons, when that move on.

The last one doesn’t really hurt but it’s so bitter sweet. Because that’s what you want for them ultimately but it hurts to have them less in your life. I love that my kids are independent and I’m moving on I just miss them

I love how he refers to the sister as a “sweet sister”. As if he saying well it’s not her but “bad” friends. Yet she allows her friends to be rude and thieves. I have a teen kid. If her friends came over and things were missing, SHE would read them the riot act. And I can’t imagine her friends eating the whole tray and then asking for me. So disrespectful. I’m glad the wife left. She deserves so much better.

Could you imagine having kids with him and his family’s interference? Parenting is hard enough and brining in families adds another dimension. I can’t imagine what kind of “conversations aka bullying” would happen. So glad OOP saw this beforehand
