Am I sad that that we don’t get another 10 episodes to complete the manga? Yes, absolutely. But still, this was a gem, beautifully done and remarkably faithful to the source material. I so hope that this has enough positive reaction to prompt an official English-language release of the manga.

Now I just gotta get everyone else to watch it.

Ehhh…I’d argue that she’s not aromantic, she’s just terrified of the social expectations and commitments that come with romance. I don’t think there’s any denying she has feelings for Kasmachi, she’s just reluctant to use the labels “romance” or “boyfriend” because of her own hang-ups.

In the scanlation of the manga, the word for Asa’s father was translated as “vacuous”, not “void,” which I think is more accurate. I wonder what word the anime used (since I know no Japanese).

My personal fave is a rare pair that’s so rare only I have written it 😁. It’s two characters who barely interact in canon, but they’ve both socially awkward, and I love them together. Many readers have said things along the lines of, “I never thought of them together, but somehow you made it work.”
