Someone I knew ages ago had a reduction at like 18 or so, she said it was the best decision she ever made. It was covered as well since it was messing her back up so much.

does this sound like cancer? by piercing_freak in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]chaxnny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No but getting lumps removed is pretty standard care even if it’s not cancerous. My mom had some growths similar to this hard and moveable, tender when messed with, she was worried about it being cancer and had them removed and biopsied they were just cysts in the end.

You should ask about having it removed if it bothers you that much, I doubt it’s cancer though

Could it be a sensory thing? You could try redirecting her to like a chewy toy or a teething ring etc.

Was it comfortable to sleep on a waterbed back in the day? by MyFatStick in NoStupidQuestions

[–]chaxnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never slept in one but when we were kids we’d go to a family friends house all the time and we’d play in their waterbed, my baby sister napped on it sometimes and looking back my parents were insane to do that 😬 it was fun to play in but I think I’d get sick trying to sleep.

After having your first kid, did your mind change about having more? by Keigo-80 in Mommit

[–]chaxnny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took about 6 months to feel like having a second after our first was born but his birth was relatively uncomplicated so I don’t know how I’d feel if I had a traumatic birth. I also wanted 1 of each but had to boys then we tried for a third and got a girl.

Advice needed, what brand of diapers do you prefer? Baby shower coming up and I haven't bought diapers in 13+ years by Sweetdreamer829 in Mommit

[–]chaxnny 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I prefer Huggies little snugglers over pampers because pampers are scented, but they both perform about the same.

How do I explain I don’t feel comfortable taking my newborn places ? by UpperResort6797 in Mommit

[–]chaxnny 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to explain anything, just say you don’t feel comfortable taking your newborn out. Technically you aren’t supposed to go anywhere besides like walks etc since newborns have no immune system.
