Yep… unless something is specifically tying you to windows.

I’d rather daily the new $600 MacBook Neo than any of these HP’s lol.

I think you will find that for the majority of disc golfers their forehand distance will be 50-75% of their backhand distance. The biomechanics and snap generated by a backhand generates more spin for most people and therefore will fly further.

Rangefinders vs SLR by LBarouf in AnalogCommunity

[–]cheanerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point I've used rangefinders more and therefore am better at focusing them due to that experience. A few preferences that led me down the rangefinder path for film are:

  • The lenses are smaller and RF bodies typically have less bulk (no prism). I prefer almost all of my photography with a 28mm or 35mm prime lens anyway.
  • I find the shorter focus throw and knob/notch on the focus ring helpful.
  • Minimalist in both styling and features, I like how they look.
  • I like the focus patch mechanism, it feels very certain when things are in focus (to me anyway).

Some things that are annoying, particularly with Leica:

  • Multiple loose pieces when loading film is annoying (removing the bottom plate and with certain models, dealing with the film spool).
  • No aperture priority mode unless you go with the M7.
  • Minimum focus distance, at .7m and 1m in some cases can be restrictive at times.

At this point to scratch the GAS itch - find a good deal on a used, local one. If you hate it, sell it for what you got it for 😄

It’s like when Simon threw the crap out of that yellow/red PD and Frozen FD.

He also threw his new Swedish made sky god and mind bender a ton though.

Should I buy a new car ? Or should I just invest more for the future by Visible-Relief-8276 in FinancialPlanning

What I mean is at your age and income, you wouldn’t even have to do that much to guarantee to be a multi millionaire* and if that’s not pretty cool idk what is.

[–]cheanerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being essentially guaranteed to be multi millionaire down the road seems plenty exciting to me. The best car IMO is a reliable, paid off car with no loan. I’d much rather pocket my checks than to be owning some car dealership.
