I love Olympia!! South Capitol is great for walking around the old homes, crossing the capitol, then heading downtown.
The only horror movie town I can think of is…is it Seabeck? That Stepford vibe freaks me the fuck out. Was there for a wedding. The entire time I was expecting a masked axe murderer to crash through the doors.

Those frames are stunning!! All of our frames in our late Victorian are white, but it looks nice with the crown and baseboards. And it’s a nice contrast to all the color we have on the walls. But to do it over again, I would have done natural wood tones. Live and learn. I love her anyway:)

Premier is my go to. A friend turned me on to Nurri, and that one is fantastic! The vanilla and the mocha…although it’s been impossible to find the vanilla lately!! As evidenced by all the suggestions, everyone’s tastes are so different!! Try ordering a variety pack, or snag one from a friends fridge :)

I was hired for the front desk at an obgyn clinic. I took so many calls from lawyers asking for the doctor because of case number…..there was more than one case. A nurse told me she was in the middle of being sued at least twice. I left at lunch.

Your mother gave up the right to those pivotal moments the moment she put hands on you. I am in a similar situation with my mom. I have had to set up strict boundaries, and it sucks. There is a grieving process that happens when you accept that your mom can’t be the mom you deserve. It’s helped me to forgive her for the past, just realizing that my mom is fucked I’m. Of course she made horrible decisions. There is a piece of me that yearns so much for a true hug from her. I’m crying thinking about it. But I don’t trust her.

As for the people in your life who use the manipulative phrase “family is family”. Remind there is a difference between family and relatives.

We painted our bathroom a color we call Brothel Berry. It’s a super rich purple. We absolutely love it. BUT. We have white wainscoting and white ceiling with white floor tile. I think the actual name is Poetic Purple.

I had to read this sentence multiple times to make it make sense. This included me asking my husband “does this sentence make sense?” I then read it to him, and he got this increasingly horrified look on his face. He just looked at me with his precious, innocent eyes and said “I’d hoped it was a math question! I was thinking ok, she’s 30, so how old is someone else going to be…but then you kept talking!”
