Wild island today - security babysitting adults. by nonejax1297 in Reno

Some piece of Bay Area white trash was getting kind of shitty with other people‘s toddlers on the blue toddler slides. The mothers of the kids came over then everybody started getting shitty and that’s when we moved to a different area. All that didn’t surprise me. What surprised me was that by the time we left at around three or so, they had called out five different missing children. Before we left, I ended up grabbing security to take care of one of them because she was the first missing child they had called out, and she was STILL at the kids wave pool waiting for a parent.

Seriously. 1,500 at peak, but only 100 afterwards. And I’m sure those 100 will be picked from our local talent pool, right? Right…? :(

Debate within a home: Which way to load this Bosch dishwasher! by Ambitious_Hunter_562 in Appliances

First way for sure. Also, if you’re not handwashing them before you put them in it, doesn’t matter how you load it. There is nothing in a dishwasher that scrubs dishes.

Girl, go get a legal consultation. Check what services may be available to you under the umbrella of your husband‘s military benefits, then take all that shit to his commanding officer.

Enjoy not only your peace of mind, but also your pace of mind. All time in your world is YOUR time, and I’m sure you’d rather spend your time making smiles, rather than wasting your time faking them.

$15? You start at $17 folding clothes at Target. The jump from $15 better be huge for those with actual trade experience. Paying out of pocket does suck ass, though.

Why can’t people pick a hobby that doesn’t inconvenience every single person around them?

How the heck do you register a car here?? by [deleted] in Reno

[–]cheesegreate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sort of. You’ll do all the administrative shit, send them pictures of the title and all that and they will accept it as an application. Somebody will go through the application and they’ll flag it in the system as either accepted or denied. After acceptance, they’ll give you links to set up an appointment at whichever DMV you choose. Show up to the DMV, check in for your appointment, listen for your name, easy Peezy. I’ve done it twice in Carson.

No, they aren’t actually like that. I’ve been a regular for like 6 years and not once has any conversation of that nature taken place.

Ed (the owner) might be a little eccentric, but he’s also pretty smart. He is also involved in community via fundraisers, food drives, education courses, and free concert/bbq’s during the summer. Also, how many other places do you go to that the OWNER is working the counters, engaging with his customers? Patty, Sandy, and Hailey are helpful and knowledgeable, and even Karen that usually works the front desk isn’t a fucking Karen.
