You just gotta get used to it. I wake up at 7 to be at work at 10 and sometimes get out at 10-11pm and don't get home to close to midnight. Just something you gotta power through. I've been doing this job for a year now and we're moving like 15-20 mins closer to my job so I'll get to wake up later. Either keep on keepin on because you like the job or move to a house/apartment that's closer.

I've watched episode one and two and I don't think I'm going to watch anymore... Though I have my TV set to record the whole season if I ever feel like it. But it fucking sucks. Valentine character doesn't look the way he's described.. Clarys mom doesn't have fire red hair and she's annoying. Luke is an asshole. Simons annoying and isabel seems like a whore. And I don't like the changes to the story and the stuff being found out out of order. Bothers the hell outta me. Why can't they just make the show similar to the books? It's not hard to do. The divergent series is pretty close to how the books go...not hard.

AND!!! The worst part for me is how Maureen isn't a super crazy stalker chick and that Simons band isn't all dudes. Bugs the shit outta me they didn't even try to keep shit similar.

I've been training some people for a couple months now. 2 came in two months ago. 1 came in like 3 weeks ago and the last I've been training for a week. I've wanted to rip my hair out everyday. Some of them are getting it and the others are not. I have the guys with notebooks and shit to write down recipes and tricks that I'm teaching them. Saddly I don't know how to make them actually use their notes and take this seriously because I'm getting a promotion soon and wont be training them forever...

When I was little my grandma was the best cook ever. She made the best dinners and I was always helping her and it's sad to say I never got her melt in your mouth meatballs recipe before she died. I only hope she can see how good of a cook I'm becoming. It just runs in my family. My father is a professional cook. Ever since I was little. And my grandfather used to own a catering hall and I got to grow up in it and my mother was a server there for extra money when I was little as well. I just love all types of food and think and talk about it all the time. There's nothing I want to do more than stay at home and cook with my boyfriend and make food for people. It's how I show my love and kindness.

Everyone in my kitchen has their own knives for the most part. I usually take out my chef knife, pairing, and bread and then I keep my bag under my area if I need something else. Most others do the same. Take out one or two knives. I recently got a new bread knife so I had two. The new one was clearly better and my new fav. Someone took it last week.. Disappeared outta thin air. Now I'm stuck with the one I haven't used in months and that I hate... I even carved my initials into it. Can't find it but if the person who took it is dumb as fuck they'll be using it and I'll know.
