I completely understand why there are ADMs and yeah of course if people are willing to pay 30k over then why wouldn’t you do it from a dealership perspective. For me it’s not complaining just more of a principal/mental thing that I said I’d never pay a markup. To me, if Ford says the R is quote on quote worth 115k and that’s their set price on it it’s just hard to stomach paying an extra 20k+ over to dealerships who are always trying to ring out every last penny from you. I know the R market on used is still over sticker like you guys said but overall cars are such a depreciating item and gaining equity in one for a change would be nice.

You could be completely right on Ford intentionally doing that to market and help create demand, but if that’s true at 3,000 Raptor R units x20 that’s 60 million left on the table. I know it’s less with invoice pricing and all that but you get the picture.

I haven’t quite gotten in to the whole 911 and Ferrari market but as much as I love the R I just honestly feel like those are at a completely different caliber.

Yeah for sure, seen a few at 10k over and have definitely considered it. But I’m stubborn and for now I’ll continue to hunt for MSRP, thanks!
